No, thanks for the invite, but I live ooop North!
Got my bulb, I'm a bit of an eBay *****!
Not picked it up today, map sorted now, but still waiting for that clear fog light and a towing eye cover, so Monday now :-(

That yellow Hatch looks awesome, when I started the hunt for my next one, I would have loved the funds to buy the yellow Hawkeye Spec C RA-R that was at Keighley (I'd have took that risk!)

Yesterday I put some 3mm black silent coat in the boot floor area.
Test drive today and it's a really noticeable difference, much less NVH from back of the car and a feeling of solidity some how.

You are adding a little bit of weight into the car but this is a great product IMHO.

Got a few sheets left, so thinking where to put them for most effect, probably the firewall area of the floor.

Thanks, all. Getting the tiniest bit excited now; just got to sell my sl wagon.
I thought it was the kitchen top as well !! There was someone on here somewhere last week doing something oily on his living room rug, and I just thought if that was me the missus would have kicked me down the road !

Nice, what did you do to achieve that? Hydro-dip?

OK, I think I need to copy this to try and reduce the rumble of my exhaust. What size pack did you buy 45 or 85 quid? I'm guessing 45 will cover the boot floor?

I was going to ask you about that Sharkfin Don. I've found the Perrin aerial isn't anywhere near as good as stock for reception.

My glove box "drops" when I open it.

There is a cylinder on the left side ( by door pillar ) which will be the glove box damper.
This cylinder does not seem to connect to anything at the top!
Unclipped it from the glove box door at the bottom and it came out; it seems to end at the top in an open tube, with white / cream rubber inner part inside the black plastic tube.

Is this damper broken?
Can it be clipped back together? ( expect I will have to remove the dash end panel by door to gain access? )

If not can I get a spare from the dealer?

Thanks!

You will need to remove the glove box and maybe the lower panel to see the damper upper attachment area.

Default Which aos

As above I had my car built by Alan jefries and it got finished in January

I think the pics tell the story on the weekend I uprated the standard cooler because Martyn said it was the major restrictive factor. To this

Should easily be part of the 400hp club now But one thing it did notice was the amount of oil in the intake / cooler so looking at aos now what ones you guys using or would you recommend thanks
Alex

Looks good Ive heard mixed reviews of the grimspeed one and it has questionable efficancy but I spose your using yours more as a catch can but tbh not what I was looking at. I've heard that the Crawford is the one to have any one used this? also there is the Perrin one which is almost the same and is also water heated to prevent condensation 👍🏼 .. Also the mishimoto one seems quite good but that has two cans but is built to a very high spec. Any experience of these three?
