The duty would be around 24.5% of the combined item and shipping costs, plus you need to add the processing fee of £13 that Parcelforce impose as well.

So that could be around £79 plus £13 on top of the £322, so worst case total price £414 from japanparts.

I also saved a lot when ordering the R205 from Japan against the price from ICP and others.

20% vat + the 3% customs duty.

ICP wanted £500 for the R205.. then he came down on that... but not below the £400 I paid for all my stuff.

It all depends on the category code, I've seen some which carry a 4.5% charge.

I think it would be 4.5% for the steering wheel. If you look at the HMRC site for importing. You can ring and check the code is correct too

I have the round one from Damd as oppose to the D shaped and I love it. Who doesn't appreciate a bit more girth in their hands!

Hey everyone how are you all?

Some of you might remember me I was probably last in here about a year ago when I had a dark grey 330S. Loved that thing. Since then I've gone back to Ford and currently roam about in a Spirit Blue ST-3 Focus with the Mountune MR300 kit fitted. Love it.

Anyway I am having to have a clear-out as we're about to have an extension done. I'm losing all of my storage space in the garage and have these I would like to sell to a new home:

Genuine THULE 2 BAR PACK WING BAR ROOF RACK

Name: IMG_1587_zpsa7f5a7c3.jpg
Views: 0
Size: 196.6 KB

Name: IMG_1586_zpsd2f49920.jpg
Views: 0
Size: 159.2 KB

The kit will fit the 2008- Hatch & 2010- Saloon

Foot Pack 753, Fitting Kit 3068, WingBars 961 (118 cm), set of locks and keys.

It's around £180 new and I only used them 2-3 times. I would take £100 to save me binning them I still have all of the original boxes too.

Im based in South Essex or can arrange to post for abit more. Please PM me

For anyone interested in these I can vouch for how good they are, had a set on my old hatch which I now use on the saloon, they are as solid as a rock.

Picked up what I can only describe as a bit of transmission whine from MY08 at the front end ... Nothing massive but noticeable. Could it be driveshafts or something ? Cars done 63k now. Anyone else had anything similar. A. Thx

Go on do it ,, it feels so much better ,,, I removed my last one from the hawk just before I traded it in and couldn't get my head around how big the Standard wheel felt once it was back in and that made my mind up for me that I needed one for the hatch

Pick my flocked dash up on Friday ,,, what about the squib and the steering angel sensors ? as my mate changed his for a aftermarket one and it messed all his dccd up and was never right after that and would only work in default ?

Squib isn't an issue, I have some self made units to plug in to delete them, worked on every other one so far..

As for the roll connector, I'll sort that easy enough so it still functions.

Do you have a spare dash ??
