Thanks for the idea Paul but had dismissed that as I had heard from people who had done this on Classics that you lose even more oil pressure due to height. I lost 15psi mounting one at FMIC height, but that was probably down to the very long pipe run to get to it

I'll check dims for the fog light "panel" tomorrow to see if a 13 row will fit behind. With suitable ducting for the air from front opening to encase the front of the cooler, even though the opening will be smaller than the front area of the cooler, it may work, or not !! There may not be enough room though
That bumper has been off so many times

3-27 - or there abouts.

PM me your email address and I'll send you a PDF of the owners manual
Its a yank version, but SI-drive is still SI-drive.
I don't have a PDF of the navigation unit though.

Cheers
Shaun

PS - Did you fit side lights yet?

EDIT:
Oh - don't forget that instead of burning a load of MP3's onto CD, you can burn them onto DVD instead and control from the head unit/steering wheel.

7-34on is also SI-Drive and VDC.

7-49 is hill assist which I think you were also asking about.

And on the rear cover my manual is A1950GE just to make sure you have the right one.

There is your problem, looks like your dealer has kindly given you an old version of the manual as its an older version number than mine, the copy I have covers all models.

My euro import had I think the same one that you have, I just ordered a new one for about £14, however they should sort that out for free for you as you bought it from them, mine was an independent dealer.

If you didn't have the subaru assist and alarm docs I'd ask if it was a premium euro import with PPP and a 330s badge fitted! There was a dealer passing off a basic STI with PPP a while back as a 330s and asking 330s money, they were caught out though, *******!

Paulbu has also rang about that car and I think he said there's no warranty with it because it's been mapped. He'd be able to tell you more

I think this car looks great. I have delt with Crossroads for ages and they have supplied me and my family with all our Impreza's for proabably the last 6 years their service is fantasic.
It is very unlike Jon (the MD) or any of them to be honest to not return calls as lets be honest he and they are in the business of selling cars so im sure he wouldnt not call you back on purpose.
They are one of the only remaining Subaru dealers left who offer and understand customer service the way Subaru used to be so i cant fault them.
And before anyones asks NO i dont work for them but i do think they are good at what they do.

Wrong handbook seems to be a common issue. Phone IM/Subaru UK (0121 747 4000) and they should send you the correct one FOC if you explain that you've just bought the car and the handbook is wrong.

Even though it's not much, it's still a bit tight having to pay for the correct handbook IMO - all you're asking for is the handbook that they should've supplied with the car from new!

Maybe I was just lucky but I had no issues, IM sent me the correct one FOC.

Neil.

Managed to locate some Vredestein ultrac sess in the right size, being fitted tomorrow am. At £119 a corner fitted the saving over everything else and all the positive info about them on the net I just have to give them a go.

Wwll report back once scrubbed in.

Thanks Paul,

Specifically, is it Millers CRX 75W90 NT?

Default Hill Assist

Can any one tell me how long this should be active for?
Mine seems to hold the car for 1sec then lets the brakes off, is this correct?

Thanks for the pics Phil mucho appreciated

Hill assist lasts for about a second or two

To use, stop on a hill with your foot on the brake, clutch down, select first gear, bring clutch to 'bite point' foot off brake & it will sit there until you move off again usually within a second or two. All done with handbrake not touched.

I've found this really useful, ever since i got used to it in the wife's old Scenic i always prefer to have it as a feature. In my old M3 you had to pull the left paddle to use it rather than it being auto which was a pain.

PS no need for the biting point before lifting of the brake.

Are you sure it's not got Prodrive springs? The front looks a touch lower than standard, very much like the Prodrive springs (10mm ish)?

He said its 330S standard suspension though.
I'd say it just looks lower because of those big 19" rims

My own 330S just has the standard wheels, but it still has quite a low stance.

Going to get the Prodrive springs in a few weeks so will measure the difference. Dealer mentioned about 20mm?
