it was just a throttle sensor fault code (historic not present) that came up on the diagnostics. he said it was fairly common and straight forward to fix, just a replacement. just a ballache more than anything else. ps. someone bring a tow rope
apparently those tunnel police charge a fookin fortune if you have to be recovered from the tunnel

had an ecu gremlin pop up on me before but luckily for me it could not of happened in a better place! i had bought some oil on sunday just to "have in" for a top up and that but decided this afternoon, **** it, oil and filter change so i rang up dyno demon on the wirral cos i knew they keep filters in stock. needed to be there handy after phoning them so got my foot down. anyway when i was 3 miles away i took over a mazda 3something and on changing back from 3rd to 4th i had no throttle response whatsoever and was just coasting. pulled over, turned the engine off, got the obligatory "tosser" wave from the mazda driver. waited a minute and turned the engine over holding my breath, i had throttle response so carefully finished my journey. Steve at dyno demon could not of been more helpfull as was his co-worker (did not catch his name) he done a diagnostics check and re-set my ecu and it was problem solved and told me what the problem was and how to get it done under warranty if it occured again, then they done my oil change although it was past closing time i think. so to any of you lads from the wirral side pondering wether to use him for any work then i would give him a big thumbs up. he saved me a big headache, top blokes.
Mrs doesn't fancy our Tunnel Trip. So am going solo this time. Good thing is i shown my Dad The Pics and Video's from Last time. He's well up for it... There on Hoilday at the moment tho, but he's coming in August. Get him to do some Filming.
Had my own Little Tunnel Run in the week. Had to drive to Bangor, Those Tunnels are good. 70mph n all. And free! Bit far to go thought. Sounded Crap in my Berlingo van.

Na mate. Sport or Turbo. There all Scooby's Pal. Who care's! You will fit in a treat. It's no race day or owt, we can only do 40mph anyway! Will be a top day. It was last month with only 11, 50 or under will be great. Have loads of Pics for the Forum's.

your car dont look any different to any other classic so why would it look out of place, anyway its a cruise not a trackday so speed dont matter.The more SUBARUS the better and i think your car looks mint i love white scoobys,and if your girlfreind comes with you she will see what a nice bunch we all are and she will very much enjoy the day cheers Roger.

you can get there for 2 if you like mate, there may be a couple there already but the majority should be just behind you. official meet up time is 1430 at the frankie and bennies car park opposite the macdonalds, (had to go here cos of the numbers attending!) see you there mate.
