ScoobySue over on Scoobycity is arranging a Scooby stand for up to 30 cars. For all that want to put there cars in the show Sue is asking for a £3 donation (payable on the day) and all proceeds go to the running costs of the village hall which is a registered charity, sorry this year they will not be doing their own BBQ but there will be food stalls at the fete.

Sue is looking to do trophies again like last year for cleanest, best in show etc and also there may be a chance to win a holiday on a mini cruise to France which I will confirm details of once the ticket has been finalised.


So who is up for it? Just up the road from ABW so not an early start.

No real need to tell you guys but please all be aware that Tolleshunt Knights is a small quiet village so please respect this whilst driving through and please stick to the speed limits there are a lot of horses around using the roads and speed cameras are often in use here so be warned.

Never mind horses what about the sheep?

Eeeerrrrr, can I borrow some bits from someone - trying to do this & is making my Scooby sound almost 'boring' (though to me a Scoob could never be that!!) standard, unmolested, unmodified.....

You will just have to make up for the lack of words with a display of oval racing. You will be on grass after all.

I don't think the organisers will be too impressed if you spray clods of earth & grass all over the spectators though.

I would never have associated you with "quicky" Hils but I am sure Spally can improvise.

It would`nt be the first time we have done that. We as a grasstrack club attended a vintage rally at Bolnhurst and one year I was there the club asked me to drive a class one mini 1000cc round the arena to do a display. Then right at the last minute a guy who had a mk3 escort with a mid mounted rover 3500 with supercharger did`nt realise we were expected to put on a display and went weak at the knees and said you take it. Did`nt have to ask twice.
I take my hat off to the crowd they all stayed seated on bales just feet the other side of a single rope whilst I did a display of opposite lock driving round what was a relatively small arena for the 300bhp car I was driving. When I was driving back to the stand one excited spectator stopped me and asked excactly where I raced the car he looked dumfounded when I told him it wasn`t my car, speak to the guy over there.
