depending where we leave from if it`s home. I`ll probably go cross country to oxford and down the A420 to avoid the dreaded roadworks west side of the car park aka as the M25.
So you won`t need to keep your elbows in on the M4

 

Could be quite noisy there as the RB5 OC is staying there this year as we were fed up with the service we got from the other hotel...........Plus the pub is a beefeater and is far better. We are there Friday and Saturday Nite.

Plan of attack......

1st Meet at Brook Street Garage 5:10am Leave at 5:15am (Dave, you still coming?)

2nd Meet, rolling meet at Waltham Abbey Junction M25 at approx 5:30am (Lorraine, Will call you as we pass M11 junction so you can join M25 ahead of us)

Stop off at Reading Services M4, for some brekkie at about 7:00am.

Hopefully arrive at Castle Combe by 8:30am.

 

Don`t forget us we`ll meet you at or rolling around jun 16 swindon west if you ring us when near.

Likely to be about 8.00 - 8.30 if stopping for brekkie at 7.00

 

Don't panic on tickets they should be arriving tomorrow if not today

For those on the SIDC Stand it will make sense to approach Castle Combe from the reverse direction so you don't have to pass gates 1,2 & 3 YOU WILL AVOID THE BIGGER QUES. Please see your stand pass for directions


ALSO PLEASE NOTE WHEN YOU ENTER GATE 4 OUR STAND IS STRAIGHT AHEAD NOT TO THE RIGHT AS IN PREVIOUS YEARS. THERE ARE SEVERAL OTHER SUBARU CLUBS WHICH WILL BE TURNING RIGHT MAKE SURE YOU GO STRAIGHT ON !!!!!!

Please also ensure your writbands are ON and your pass is clearly displayed BEFORE you get to the gate the marshals are instructed to make sure they are on before you enter the circuit and will make you put them on holding everybody up

Please look out for either me or Dave T to be parked up as the paddock is going to be VERY BUSY

The cars were awesome proper rally cars from Mk2 escorts to the flame spitting Quattro S1`s even triumph dollies.
Can`t wait to see your pictures Brian. Good to see you are home safe.
Get some sleep before sorting your pics though.
Bet your glad I thought of that. LOL
