Quick question

the manaul IC spray, does anyone ever use this and if so when ? Im guessing its also automatic ?

What tyres do people prefer ? at the moment it has RE050 all round and needs some new fronts soon, shall i just get some of these ?

Are the brakes noisy on these cars ? I dont meen squeels but if im hard braking i can really hear them working is this normal ?

Any driving tips, scooby tips in general for a new owner ?

The most FUN car ive ever owned BAR NONE and ive had a

Racing Puma
Clio Trophy
VX220 Turbo

biggest driving tip for a new scooby owner is for gawds sake don't go mad straight away. these cars are flattering but will bite and catch you out like any other when you get past your drving abilty.

i know that sounds like an old woman talking, but you wouldn't believe how many people have been caught out within the first few days of driving one

oh and leave the DCCD in AUTO. if you've got a big open car park to play on try winding the wheel back fully, great **** out fun but best not tried on the road for your first time!

your I/C spray is manual being a UK, i'll be honest mine only gets used when i remember it's there i've had the car over 3 years now and i've only topped up the tank once

the brakes do grind a bit. nothing to worry about there.

you'll get lots of different answers for tyres, everyone has a different favourite.
personally i really like the REO70 which is std on that car, but they are a bit difficult to live with. awesome grip in the dry, but not a good winter tyre.
i use michelin PS2 in the winter and i'd recomend that as a very good all round tyre.

most important thing last Sam, enjoy!

Whats you guys experiance with "launching"

Dont get me wrong, im not an idiot wanting to ruin my car but it would be nice to give it some beans and experiance that AWD off the line feeling but does it ruin the clutch / gearbox pretty quickly ? Another thing is that when your giving it some through 1st/2nd/3rd you can really feel it through the transmission, are these box's good or is it a good idea to be as gentle as possible to prolong its life ...

Im not a tool who drives like a tit just like to ask these kind of questions

I take it you brought it then? Thats a seriously good looking car. I must admit I was set on looking for a blue STi but, having seen that car with the black wheels, I'm having second thoughts now...

Dude, I am so jelous now, congrats on the new purchase, commiserations to the unlucky guy that had to sell it, its a beauty.

I was also thinking id look for a blue one, until i went to see a black one in the flesh. Still looking, and saving myself, hopefully the in the next 4-6 weeks I'll manage to land one of my own!
