Depends on the function. Are you telling me that will handle as well as an out of the box Scoob?

Yes it will handle what it has been optimised for far better than an out of the box scoob

But it will no longer do what a Scoob does very well out of the box. Why do that to a Scoob? Just seems a bit stupid to me to take a car that is very good at one function, remove that function and then make it do something else it was never designed to do when you can probably get a better result starting from a different base.

Mind you that's only like car manufacturers and these stupid 4x4s that they spend thousands on making them handle nearly as well as .... their road cars

Not sure the impreza is very good at any single function out of the box, with the exception of flattering most peoples driving styles...it does a few thing quite well though; like launching from stationary

Like Mr Weller said when he was still cool: "the public gets what the public wants..."

Anyways enough of the thread hijack.

Has anyone tried this pattern part rather than the genuine BMW E46 lip?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2609260702...84.m1438.l2649

Is it a good quality close copy of the real thing?

cheers
Andy

i 1st got something like that off ebay, and when it turned up, it looks allmost the same, but it just looked like some wall/floor trim stuff.

i think sleepysy had a cheap ebay one as well that melted.

i would 100% say its best to get a gen bmw one

Looks like it went on nice mate,do you find it pulls in at all after it hardens fully as it's fast?
I'm using sikkens superior[medium] for most jobs and Lesonal 2K extra clear for others[generally lower priced jobs as it's over half the price of the sikkens]

I think it did, so it can't possibly be the same boot lid.

In all honesty Jarvis I preferred your car with the rear spoiler fitted, aesthetically it just doesn't look right.

You know my exact colour code as well.
