unfit The Anfield Propaganda machine rolls into effect!

If Liverpool had thrown the league away before now like normal they'd have been able to rest Gerrard on Sat so he was ready for last nights game. Not easy going for the two big ones is it?

it's so typically, the only reason why Essien outplayed Gerrard and didn't give him a kick was because he was injured and no way could it have been than Essien is just has good a player has Gerrard.

Essien is only just back from a long term injury so I doubt he's even near full match fitness. All the more impressive performance from him

Absolutely, like I said . . . not taking anything away from Essien.

I'll try my best to decipher that 'sentence'. Give him a kick? What are you on about? Typical Chelsea thug.

Essien was the better player in that game. Fact.
Gerrard was far from match fit and carrying an injury in that game. Fact.
Essien is just as good a player as Gerrard?

Wind your neck in.

I think you misunderstood my post, didn't didn't mean give him a kick literally what i meant was he never allow Gerrard any time and space on the ball.

I rate Essien really highly imo he's the best midfielder at Chelsea because he powerful, can tackle.pass, shoot, can play in any role in midfield, can play right-back and Centre Half and sometimes he doesn't get the credit he deserves and we've miss him when he was injured.

The reason i got wound up is because it's being used has a excuse for Liverpool getting beat and not because Chelsea were better on the night and maybe Chelsea have found a away to beat Liverpool which is to man mark Gerrard and don't give him space and time.

So i would like a apology for calling me a thug

Okay I apologise, you're not a thug It's just all other Chelsea fans Just kidding.

Essien is a world class player, no doubt, one who any squad would love. My comment was just that Gerrard was/is carrying an injury, not that he wasn't outplayed by Essien, he was

I don't know what else you've been reading, but I certainly haven't been using it as an excuse. There's a lot of tarring with the same brush goes on in here, assuming that all fans of the same club think the same way when of course they don't . . . and it's almost always Mancs (see posts above yours)

Apparently Al Qaeda have been targetting Old Trafford and Anfield. Different approach by the sneaky ba$tards, trying to win the rest of the country over like that

I don't not what do now. Mood swinging from resignation to pleading for one more goal.

And as I type, it's 4 - 4.

What a game.

top game, good effort from both sides, only let down by drogba's constant falling over.
