The bonnet vent is a Genuine S7 works vent. It's carbon and came with the Prodrive label still on it.
Took me 6 years to track one down, unfortunately unavilable to buy anymore and haven't been made since 2003.

Hi Frayz,

Regarding the gear linkage bushes you have replaced. Can you tell me how many bushes you changed and where you purchased from. I would like to do this on my classic. Can't find much info about parts required. Is it a complex task to change them?

Thanks in advance.

Not complex at all.

They came from Alyn @ AS Performance. Give him a call and tell him I sent you.

He can give you all the info you need.

Thanks Frayz,

Will give Alyn at asperformance a call and tell him you sent me. It's another job to do over the winter. Sounds like a great mod. Did you need to press to get the old bushes out/new bushes in? Or can be done by hand?

Just want to be sure I have everything I need. Hate starting jobs and finding out I don't have correct tools etc.

Cheers again.

I used a large bench vice and slowly pressed my ones in. They won't go in by hand as they're such a snug fit. But do go in without any hassle.

Guys,

I've entered the NASIOC.com Top Scoob competition.

All of you who have supported my build over the years, vote if you can.

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=2385475

It's only for fun, but would be cool to win.

I should still make it through this round though. Acoolaid will be the one to beat in the top 3.

Not much to update guys, found a small weep on my steering rack so that's been pulled out for a rebuild.
Being a JDM Spec C quick rack, the rebuild kits are like hens teeth and are having to come via special order from Japan.
So just waiting on that and I can put her back together... And go for another bloody geometry setup lol.

Depends what's adjustable on your car Martin, I've lots of adjustability on my car inc camber, caster, toe, ride height, bump and rebound as well as the ARBs.
I'm currently playing with settings trying to get something I like.
I suggest to take it somewhere local and start with the Prodrive fast road settings, see how you like it and then go from there.

Lol, true mate. Although the guy who does my setup I know pretty well and always gives me a little discount as I'm always playing with the geo. Could do with my own laser alignment kit

Depends, I'd swap it for something special or take a cash offer.

Not decided on a replacement yet, need to see if anyone's actually interested in buying it first.

Craig,

I will be writing and advert and listening to offers of over £25K.

Not an ordinary price but not an ordinary car. I've owned her for 8 years and spent well in excess of £60K. There are lots of cars out there with the power but not finished to what I think is an acceptable standard.
