Just stopped by the powdercoaters on the way home to collect some of my parts. There is alot more that were still too hot to take home, so i'll collect them when i can.

Im delighted with the finish on these, i couldnt help but unwrap some parts to take some photos to show you guys.

Here you can see the cam covers in complete matte finish, the gloss finish on the x-over and the machine silver on the alternator.

All parts are one of these 3 colours.

I hope its POWER coating

lol

I had it done at my local guy just a mileor so away. His name is Jay and runs H&S powdercoating here in Essex.
Very nice guy who has taken a genuine interest in my project and nothing seems to be too much trouble.

Give him a call if you need anything. Tell him Frayz sent you and he is very very well priced.

Okay guys, heres tonights work.

Itching to see the new look i fitted the x-over pipe and the water temp sender, im liking the gloss blck on the new block.
I got the final 2 buckets reground to spec so they got dropped in and the final clearances re checked. All good. So then the relevant cam caps were sealed up and all torqued to spec. Cam seals went in.
Valve clearances checked one last time before the covers went on.
Covers went on with all new gaskets and seals inside and out. These were all sealed up and torqued to spec.
Once ive colected the rest of the parts from the powdercoaters which include the water pipes we can progress some more.
Its all looking rather good now i must say.

That's a stunning finish with that powder coat. Wonder how much he charges for wheels? Might have to drop him an email.

Yes Matt he does lots of wheels.

Give him a call, he's probably going to be doing my wheels before she goes back on the road too.

Looking SUPERB chap and i agree thats a very nice finish on the rocker covers, also liking the silver coating on the alternator casing tempted now as i was going to polish it all and the coatings going to be cheaper and less maintenance i think.

Just back from Neil @ T-logic, like a kid in a sweet shop i couldnt wait to take some pics of this little setup.
Delighted isnt the word, the quality of his work is exceptional.
V-band inconel uppipe and 321 stainless downpipe. I think i'll let the pics do the talking.

This little lot is all hand made by Neil and puts the RCM item in the shaddows and at a better price!

Looks lovely mate. If I was starting from scratch, I would almost certainly go the rotated route.

I see your mock setup last night Steven. I think you may need to rethink the single gate and might need to go to twin gates?

With the quality that Neil offers and more affordable than the RCM offering its got to be more tempting to go rotated now.
Apart from the price it exceeds the performance of standard location turbos in pretty much all areas.

No room for twin gates, trust me, i tried and tried. Single gate will work fine.

At very minium then you'll want a devider to run right up to the single gate.
I think Neil could get 2 gates in there mate i really do.

You need to be careful with that, it's a nice idea but can lead to creep, which is why I ditched my single gate and divider setup.

I rememeber lots of people inc yourself Paul struggled to get the single gate to cope properly.
I really think Neil coul get it all to fit in there one way or another using twin gates.

Seriously, there is no room to do it right. RCM run a 44mm single on the gobstopper twinscroll, so it should work.

Not much to update this at the moment. Im waiting to get my sump back as thats been away being baffled. Also waiting on my modified AVCS line and other parts to be zinc coated. Once these are on i can go ahead and fit up all the timing assembly.

Also wonding if i should bother buying the Cosworth/RCM anti skip belt guide or not?
£40 for jewellery or function?

In the meantime ive fitted up some of the water, breather lines and reassembled the alternator and PAS pump. Both look rather nice all powdercoated up
