Today's sillyness.

Here you can see just how much material gets removed to build WRC front tubs and turrets. The offside shows just how little of the OEM piece is retained.
New pieces placed in that accept the WRC oil cooler setup. Surface rust comes as standard.

Dave cracked on with the start of the tubs and turrets today. So pleased with how it's progressing.

Amazing work. Since day one of ownership perhaps a couple of 911s might have been purchased instead though!

Three years and still not finished? You'd have done better to pay the usual rate!

It not my only Subaru project so I share my time and effort and money between them all lol

Usual rate lol ,, do you know how much these Wrc Subaru's cost to build ? Plus putting standard parts back on isn't a option so Billet hubs and sub frames from RCM aren't cheap you know plus all the other bits you need that iv been buying over the last three years and some of us aren't made of money so extra time is needed

Cheers boys.

This is how yesterday's antics finished. You really start to get an idea of just how much is cut out of the rear tubs on a WRC car. The arch wells are huge. Rear flare is still in rough unfinished state and the bumper is a rough GRP mockup.

Parts laid up to get an idea of the arch line.
