Has anyone done a fitting guide for these yet? Are you guys removing the rear bumper completely or just jacking up the rear and fitting it all in-situ? I'm tempted but soooo confused
Out of interest, can you still access the rear tow hook? I've got a set of Nukabe tow hooks on my bug and I quite like showing them off lol
or is it fairly easy to cut and have access too?
Thanks

Yes you do need to drills but you don't need to remove the exhaust. The only thing I removed was the tow eye as I fitted mine under the bumper and it fouled on the diffuser. My cars is lowered -35mm and I fitted it without even jackin the car up.
Fitted mine today
. Just to let folks know, you can fit these without removing the bumper and one your own. All I did was put the back end on axle stands.
I went for the 'under the bumper look' as I prefer the look this way. Took about 4 hrs in total. I highly recommend using a Dremel multi-tool to cut the bumper. I also decided to cut a hole for the tow hook. I painted the bolt heads with a touch-up pen.
Some piccys

Thanks Mark and HT Autos
. Now get cracking on the roof vortex generator
.

Is it safe to assume that if I wanted to go for the 'under-the-bumper' look (I assume that is where the panels sit inside the rear bumper) then I'd have to cut the r/s panel at the bulge of the rear tow hook.....???
After considering the whole silver screw issue I've pre-ordered some black headed rivets as somebody posted up earlier.... would there be any reason for me to want to use screws over rivets (other than the ability to easily remove the panels later)? I'll be looking to fit a rear ARB and droplinks soon, do these get in the way?!?

As for the rear drop links and ARB it would be more difficult with the diffuser fitted so I'd probably get that done first or fit screws to the diffuser so that you could remove it. Once your happy with your back end mods (
) you could fit your black headed rivets.Wolfie.

Hi All,
I have 1 of these going spare if anyone wants it? Never unwrapped as I sold my Impreza before fitting.
It is for a MY05 Blob STI, and I believe it also fits MY03 and MY04.
PM me if interested. I'll do it for the same price as this thread sold it to me.
Cheers,
