Looks like everyone had a great day, I did for sure
Many many thanks to all from the MWS section for your organising, a great job
Great news that £400 was raised for such a good cause, well done everyone
I think it was well worth bringing the date forward as we did, at least we got a very reasonable day considering what the weather has been like of late
Thanks everyone for making it a great day I see no reason why we should not continue this annual event so roll on "The Big Welsh Meet 2010"

Enjoyed the run up and the day, but the run home was some thing else, mountain road (through the old mine workings) from the dams to devils bridge, the a quiet run into aberystwyth for a icecream and give the car chance to cool down, then off again, down the coast road turning left at the what was known as the forge garage heading for tregaron, were we stopped for a long cold ice water, then for the highlite of the day a north - south run of the Aber Gwesan pass (no idea how to spell) even the wife to be had a go at reading my notes from the MN/Roadrally days, probelly the slowest I have ever done that selective, but boy did it bring back the memories, (got to find room for a escort in the garage), then a steady run home to allow both the car a the occupunts to recover.

Dylan you know that road so well you could probably beat anyone up there.
When my car was in 'standard form' so did I and I got left for dead, I hope it would be a little less one sided the next time.

Guys,
I'd appreciate it you could load up any pic's on the Elan Valley meet thread on Sidc
Big Welsh Meet 2009 @ Elan Dams Mid Wales - Subaru Impreza Drivers Club
Cristal Tips,
Is it possible to E mail a selection of high res pic's as I would like to do a little piece in True grip.
Can you also mail the ones you have of my Type R for my own use.
Many thanks

Well an excellent turnout as always to a good dayout . Lots of good photo's on show.
A big thankyou to Richy and the MWS for organising such a good event and raising a nice amount for Charity.
Also after a nice steady drive up, one or 2 of us had a what I'd call a light spirited drive home.
I for one cant wait for next year.
