ShaggyDooWRX: Most welcome Yes, just connect everything up and fit the bulbs. No extra wiring harness needed on single beam kits as our new ballasts are more advanced than normal HID ballasts and don't need it. Simple plug and play.

Taylor: I usually fit one in the fuse box near the battery and one on the shelf of the airbox. Double sided 1mm numberplate tape (one pack will do the whole lot) from Halfords for a couple of quid - makes for easier fitting.

We'll soon be selling industrial strength double sided tape - hopefully by next week.

There are a couple of fitting guides knocking about but they are dated now - the new kits are much easier to fit. I will try and get some guides up

If you could all leave feedback on this new iTrader feature and a review on our website once you are happy that would be much appreciated:

Hi Bob
I received my HID lights today but seem to be missing the LED side lights included in the group buy. Have these been dispatched separately?.

Some Blobs are wired the wrong way around - but not all.

The HID wiring is the right way around

Working on some instructions, single beam people should have no probs though as they are just plug and play. It seemed pointless including the instructions from the old kits because they aren't really the same.

Don't be shy to take pics guys

Fitted mine tonight. What a great piece of kit, the difference is unbelieveable. I have never been happy with the lighting on the classic, even with my Morrettes, but now they are spot on. Easy enough to fit too. One of, if not the best mods i've done on my classic. Thanks again Bob, pics to follow tomorrow.

On an MY02 STi what size drill bit needs to be used to modify the bulb cover ? Or have people done other things like on my old calibra I heated up a 2p coin and let it melt a hole through when I converted that to HID ?

I was thinking the same myself. Roll on the side lights.
I'll take some pics "as is" tonight though so you can see the difference over standard.

GB running until the end of this month. The industrial strength double sided tape (listed as a product option) is worthwhile for easy fitment of the ballasts.

Got some pics of a kit I fitted on a customers car (Classic) if people need ideas for where to locate the ballasts. Will upload and link

Sorry to keep you waiting, but here's a couple of photo's as promised. The second showing how white the 4300K kit is and how yellow the standard sidelights look in comparison.

Here's a couple of the light these kits emit. (camera wasn't playing ball, so slightly blurred)

Dipped headlights

Main beam

All in all a brilliant kit and massive improvement over standard lighting.
Thanks Bob for sorting this.

Hi Ian,

Yes, and you can do away with the wiring harness (assuming it's not H4) too that way.

Will send you a PM later with the prices.

Cheers,

Bob

Hi Andy,

Sorry to hear that you found out the hard way about just how much HID kits vary in quality. We only use the highest quality components in our kits, hence the popularity and return custom.

6000k will be 6000k

Don't accept PayPal but do accept all credit and debit cards.

Sorry if this has been asked before.

I have the single beam kit for my blobeye. Question is, I can see that it all plugs together nicely, but do I simply not use the red and black spade connectors? If so I take it that means I can unplug it from the ballast all together (main red plug). Or, am I being a total dumbass??

Anyone else fitted these to a P1, if so do your driving lamps work?

Mine dont, pretty sure I could rewire with a relay but would prefer not to, seems a lot of work for something that should be plug and play

Anyone know if this will rectify my problem H4 Special Wiring Harness :: Connectors/Harness/Cables & Relays :: HIDS4U Ltd - UK's Number 1 HID Conversion Kit Specialists

Lights are superb, but need the driving lamps to work, many thanks

TurboAndy: Emailed

ScoobyWagon: Am trying for a soloution. Should be easy enough, kits are plug and play, just with some custom installs like driving lights they may need a slight tweak. Will communicate via email during the working week.

MikeMac: Spade connectors should plug into the OE headlamp plug.

AnthonyReading: LEDs are still on order. We had to go direct to the maunfacturer so they are winging there way over. Will be turned around the same day once they arrive

RajitJay: Let me know what the show is and you never know
