I fitted mine just now by using the original 4 fitting push screws you have to remove. There's no other holes I can see to use so will this hold?

Hi,
No , will last 5 mins, you need to fit with ALL fixings that are included!
You need to put all the self piercing screws in to make secure. Just drill a very small pilot hole and they will screw in easily.
