Without a doubt Hawkeye in WR blue, just like mine

 

The 22B incarnation of the classic is the best of the lot IMO!

Then classics in general followed by the blob.

The current hatchback is quite easily in my top 5 ugliest cars ever made. What an absolutely dire piece of design.

 

Hawkeye is the best looking.

The classic is obviously the most iconic.

Hawkeye for me. Always have and always will be a big fan of the classic shape and the rawness of the whole driving experience but the looks of the hawkeye sti are spot on for me so thats what i'm driving now

Funny how the classics just group together and don't say pre or post facelift

In the end, people will always say their car is the best looking - except for the bugeye owners of course! I'm pretty sure if you did a poll of who owns what, the results would be remarkably similar!

 

Has to be the pre face classic why muck about with something that is not broken .The shape the raw drive the icon status and in white of course. I feel subaru have done to the impeza now what toyota did to the celica changed it so much from what was great to something awful and wont sell . I owned a celicagt4 wrc import great car and they stopped making that shape for that god awful thing they did last and now pooooof no more celica

Has to be the Blob Eye for me and its not just because i own one honest but i have to say the dogs nuts of the Scooby world has to be the 22B thats my kind of ****

 

The Classic, Bug and Blob all have a WRC title each, don't they?

The classic, in either Type R or 22B form, would probably be the definitive shape in my eyes, though I'm set on owning a blob eye!

 

It's those wide arches that make the 22B the best looking one IMO.

I personally like all of them, except the runt. Mind you, some of the special edition (prodrive?) runts are quite tastey.

Beauty is in the eye of the be/key holder

 

the 22b because it looks a beast followed by the bugeye wrc rally car as that is also a wide aggresive looking beast

 

Classic all the way, as most car manufacturers they make a car and make it good then feed it burgers. VW golf mk1 mk11 very good cars now look at them.

got to say it's the 2dr classics post facelift, 22b in my opinion is the true daddy of the impreza.

Had a blobeye v-ltd originally although always liked the Type R's and 22b (can't stretch to one of those), now got a Version 5 Type R to smoke around in for fun

 

Well, if you do your homework and consider which homologation version of each car won what, you'd find that all new-age cars (2001-2007) are actually the same homologation version while there were multiple homolgations of the classic. So in actual fact, the new age cars have won the most titles for a single homologation

 

the original scobby was the classic, the upto date was the facelift classic. v4 classic sti best scooby made by far with the stronger gearbox more torque better face and dashboard not so retro like the prefacelift.

 

I disagree. The hatchback gets the ugliest car award hands down!

 

And that's from a bug-eye fan !
