Its funny when you hear of someone you looked up to in your childhood dying, it sets you back a bit and you think poor guy.Even though you've never met him or know him personally.I suppose it shows the respect he earned in his time,i loved his show and that nutter morph.
used to love watching him and Morph.

Poor old morph must be in bits...
Most of us on here grew up with Tony on the TV.
I couldn't draw a stick man if I tried, but I always watched the program.
Certainly brings it home that time marches on regardless..

Tony Hart, artist and inspiration for children, dies at 83
Probably SIAL but I cant see it ..
The veteran children's television show presenter and artist Tony Hart died yesterday, aged 83. He had suffered from ill health, including two strokes in recent years, and died peacefully in the early hours of the morning, according to his agent.

It is a very sad loss but he done very well in life. RIP
