Steve,
Good luck on your recent changes..... hope you get what your aiming for.

Regarding the starts..... I thought I had them nailed, achieving 1.6's..... alas there is obviously more to it than just mastering the launch though.

I was getting laughed at by the commentator and the official photographer who were waiting for me to get a better time but it never happened. I'm getting rid of my quickshift so hopefully no more missed gears On a plus side my launches were excellent and averaged 1.6/1.7 60foot times
nice one steve,keep at it

i am doing another 1/4 soon and have had some advice from someone who knows what they talking about on how to use the dccd on my typeR,
ideally i would like another gearbox but funds are low

see what happens next 1/4 mile day,if i can do less than 12.46 i will be happy

I have been told I need to drive with one hand on the wheel as by the time I have thought about going for 2nd gear its too late! Foot flat to the floor in all gears not accelerating thru them like I stupidly do and run the car with a fully locked diff. I was also told to change mine back to auto for going into 5th but on yours it will be to dial it all the way forward? I don't think I will try that just yet ??

12.9 today at the Pod, Blob eye sti PPP with exhaust system - unmapped. Quite a warm and windy out though, last time there my dad set consistent 13.2s, but he couldn't get lower than 13.7 today with 5mph less terminal! Was next to a 450bhp blobeye who was ran a best of 12.7. So I'm happy with my 12.9s
