well done rafa, you can give the team talk next week too Seriously though what he said probably didn't affect either liverpool or utd's results, its just added pressure that they don't need IMHO. As for being favoured by refs, well should have had a definate penalty, first goal by ronaldo perfectly fine and also the second by ronaldo was onside too. Anyway good result lads

Alex Ferguson flies to Baghdad to watch a young Iraqi play football. He is suitably impressed and arranges for him to join the squad at Old Trafford.

Two weeks later Man U are 4-0 down at Chelsea with only 20 minutes left. The manager gives the young Iraqi striker the nod and on he goes. The lad is a sensation, scores 5 goals and wins the game for Man U.

The fans are delighted, the players and coaches are delighted and the media love the new star. When the player comes off the pitch, he phones his Mum to tell her about his first day in English football.

'Hello Mum, guess what?' he says (in an Iraqi accent). 'I played for 20 minutes today. We were 4-0 down but I scored 5 and we won. Everybody loves me, the fans, the media - they all love me.

'Wonderful,' says his Mum, 'Let me tell you about my day. Your father got shot in the street and robbed, your sister and I were ambushed, gang raped and beaten and your brother has joined a gang of looters, and all while you were having such great time.'

The young lad is very upset, 'What can I say Mum, but I'm so sorry.'

'Sorry?!!! Sorry?!!!' says his Mum, 'It's your bloody fault we moved to Manchester in the first place!'

its going to be one of the best run ins for years in my opinion, there are still at the very least 4 teams very much in it, there is 17 games to play for the majority and 19 for the utd, teams aint going to win every game and there going to drop points, just depends on who against and how many. it will be clearer come the end of march i think.

I wanna say you're stating that again due to desperation, but I'm fair, and agree, points will be dropped before the end of the season.

Jesus you after Andy Grays job stating the obvious ?

Made me laugh today when he waffled on about such ties always being won by the one [first] goal. He soon back tracked and changed his story after utd scored another. Cant quite remember what he said but at the time I was like "gray you ****" out loud at the tv

FACT : fat boy rooney constant dissent at the officials, once again favouritism from the ref.

Poor performance from the russians, 3 crosses, should have deployed zonal marking !

Good performance by United, Chelsea were stuck after the first half, yellow cards being chucked out for fun. withing minutes Lampard was on a yellow card. Come on, 3 minutes in? first one is for free Shame really as half of Chelsea was booked and couldnt make another tackle all game.

I wonder how many teams are going to try that sly corner kick from now on?

FACT: Your clutching at further straws for a change

Yes he deserved a booking for that one but makes up for Ronaldos booking after Carvalho took him out and then put his hands up whilst Ronaldo did nothing and still got booked as well.

From the BBC

"Man Utd are favourites"- Torres

Torres believes 14 March will be the crunch date in the title race
Liverpool striker Fernando Torres believes Manchester United are favourites to win the Premier League title after their 3-0 win over Chelsea.

The Anfield outfit head the table but United, who are five points behind in third place, have two games in hand.

"They are the favourites and the champions right now"

Looks like someone's looking for a transfer...
