I don't wholely agree with someone being on benefits not being able to have a dog, although mate I would recommend you get her insured! Saying that my staff puppy is 4 months old now and I really need to get him insured n all that now before the unfortunate happens.
I agree with dedrater I wouldn't mind sending a postal order to help ur little familys' new year at this time

hi folks i dont want this thread to get out of order or anyone falling out over there oppinions , yesterday i just felt so down i always try to do things the proper and legal way and always pay my way. but it just sometimes doesnt seem to work out . i see others dealing stealing borrowing and begging and they have everything, just across from us a couple three kids not working house full of brand new gear including 42 inch plasma on the wall thats my rant ,,
anyway just collected roxy she had a bad 2 hours in the night so they put her out again drained her lungs and as made slight improvment today they have let us bring her home but as to have total rest and only be moved for food water and toilet..... she looks rough but managed a wag when she saw us ... we have medicene they are treating her for a little known illness called heartworm apparantly from france...... and can be passed to dogs through eating snails ! so watch your dogs when there out off lead... as there have only to now been a few cases in wales and liverpool ......i will let you all know how she goes ...thank you all for your concern it as gave me and the girls a reallity check and there are still good people out there ...
on a final note we have been able to sort a payment plan out with the vets and was thankfull, they dont do it regular but understood our situation.
thanks guys for offers to help with costs but i didnt post for donations for the odd few that thought this . were not poor just have a tight buget as do many ...anyway thanks and happy new year to you all ..

I do hope she gets well soon mate.
Nearly had me in tears!! Im sat here with my rescue Staffy and she means the world to Sarah and I and if anything ever happened to her I would be more than gutted.
Anything we can do just shout.....not charity but simply helping out a fellow scoobynet member....anyone of us could one day be in that situation.

Managed to run over one of our aging cats as i was parking on the drive, broke the poor things back leg.
It ended up being put down as the only alternative was amputation of a back leg and the cat was 14+ human years old.
The cost for an overnight stay, x-ray and putting to sleep + cremating was £ 389.00 - seems a little steep, next time (if there is a next time and i sincerely hope there is not) i will do a proper job with the car and bin it in the nearest wheelie bin!

Ho-Ho!
Humbug, actiuallly it has cost a fecking packet and sadly i do not have the funds to buy a Wii so i to can look like a complete **** with an idiotic look on my face - some might say i already there though and who would i be to
disagree
I ended up working most of christmas and new yearto find out i have been paid for virtually non of it as the fecked up my wages - again.
Mazda had a new coiil pack £ 150.00 on Christmas eve morning
Exhaust fell off of the Pug and damaged the back bumper Day before Christmas eve - another £ 200.00 for the exhaust
Some **** ran into the Pug day after boxing day on the way back from visiting me ma in Croydon - ripped off the front bumper and stoved in the wing
apart from that is was fab!

Paul Habgood, go bitch and whinge elsewhere, this isn't the thread to do it.. no-one cares I think you'll find people are in this thread to know how Roxy is getting on, not hear about how **** happens to you "wahh wahh" etc.

Sorry, just felt what he said was a bit insensitive considering what the threads supposed to be about.. I found his first post a bit sick tbh, and the 2nd was in no way related to anything to do with the thread in the slightest..

ffs, what's all this other tosh about
toigye, I really hope that you're luck with the wee beastie gets better and She makes a full recovery, it's basically another family member that you are talking about so I have all sympathy
As for the other replies, Hmmmm, all seems a bit daft to me. Stop fckuking around and say what you want to say or don't say anything at all. *****-footing, and dancing around subjects is fairly lame.

I feel for you, Our kittens were "done" a few months ago, The vet messed up the operation and, well basically the cats stomach fell out of the stiches.
The vet made us pay to put it right, We were in no position to argue as it was life or death for our cat. We ended up paying £300, which by itself isnt a lot of money, but when its not expected its hard.
And (a little off topic) my girlfriend is on a baby forum, There are countless posts from people who are planning there 3rd 4th 5th babies having never worked a day in there life.
Pops and I work hard, every day and we cant afford it, If we stopped working went on the social it would be paid for.
Makes you sick. I hope it all works out for you.

I can vouch for danny having known him for quite a few years now after he bought the best car he has ever owned from me and he is my little girls god father I have seen roxy today and she looked very sorry for herself danny wont take money from anyone so dont presume for one second that was his reason for posting on here
and as for the people that have slated him for whatever reason, I will personally pay for your petrol/train ticket to derbyshire for you to say it to his face if you like
Danny is a tae kwon do (sp?) instructor
