Does anybody know where the giant flame throwing ants are located plz , ive been asked to locate and sort them out by some kid whos dad they killed .? any help woul be nice ....ty

 

from what remeber they are down some subway station. Have you tried using your map and active quests screen?

can't say I've progressed much but I've explored alot and completed the first book for Moira.

Found so far, Mine field, scrapyard, big town, up the north east end. didnt dare venture towards the germantown policestation mutant headquarters though! and havent found the slaver settlement. Chose to quest for the rats and repellent, although I just travelled enough to find it on the map. Anyone find that Dukovs place? He has two girls in there that he gets to $$$K for keeping them safe in there, I killed him as he has an array of salvage in that house, I took every bottle and book in that place! Not to mention the guns. Further south from his house theres three mutants, one with a minigun, beat all them. Then u carry on south down the map and right at the very bottom in the left hand corner of the map there is what looks like a mini camp with a bunch of mutants in , I was low on health so travelled back. That road back takes you towards the first subway station "Furgett" or something like that doesn't it. theres a little tent with mutant in doin somethin with a girl, I killed him, saved her and took all the ammunition that was stored there, it's also handy as it has a bed to sleep in too. Also if you go to sleep in there, your awaken by a woman claiming to be in the "movement" group who specialise in looking after that android guy, after some chit chat she gives u an android part that your supposed to show to some guy somewhere to prove the android is "dead" so they stop looking for him

bit stuck now as iv hoarded everything from dukovs place, stashing it outside his house in that briefcase, so i can go back and fourth to megaton to sell it all, done that (took bloody ages!) and i also have a massive stash of salvage in the bin next to that subway station so I then saved the game there, and it loads there, I pick up the salvage, go to fast travel to megaton and the game crashes!! Aah!! how annoying. Thought it might be a glitch so loaded up again and thought id choose the school to fast track to, it crashed again. Turned off the console at that point so hopefully my game isnt buggered into a glitch... as the last save before that one was 8 hours beforehand!! no way gonna do all that work again

Hopefully if I get that sorted I'd like to at least locate Little Lamplight town, and the germantown police station.

Thouroughly enjoying the game though, fable 2 has been sitting in its case a few days now, lol

 

Have you gone North of Minefield to fine the Alien weapon (you will need a Rad suit minimum).
Have you deactivated the bomb in Megaton? You get a house in Megaton as a reward
Did you take Dukovs key? If so keep it safe

Hi mate yeah I kept Dukov's key....then again if it saved in the miscellaneous pile on my person then it's probably sold ****e I better check once my disc is sorted!!!!!! Ah I suppose it saves onto my keyring (duh )...lol

Heard the alien gun mentioned but didn't know where to go cheers for that bud, will check that out also, and haven't attempted to de-activate the bomb in megaton yet, I don't think it will let me as I'm not skilled enough yet

Talk to him and he mentions a womans' name and Rivet City or Little Lamplight or sell him to the slavers are the options you can do iirc.

well my ****ing disc is buggered my parents got it me for xmas do you reckon they'd change it? Can't see anmy scratches, it's the same with the fable 2 they got me, that disc keeps crashing aswell, both got for xmas and no scratches on that either very annoying

 

Do you mean the game freezing say after you died or after you kill numerous mutants? Mine does this as well, i think its just the xbox itself rather than the console. Apprently there is a new GPU for the 360 but its only installed in some arcade versions at the mo. Due on the other 360 versions soon and sorts allot of the old problems.

Anyways, fallout 3 is fantastic best weapons so far are the alien gun and lincons repeator shotgun.. wicked!. BTW there is more alien ammo to find

Ordered fable 2 myself this morning for my sons birthday, it looks good as well.

 

No only crashes when I go to fast travel to somewhere from the ferragut station. havent tried walking somewhere, saving and then trying to fast track. its really annoying as either the disc is buggered, or my save file is corrupt, and i have to use the previous one which is like 6 hours behind! Not doing all that again man! lol

fable 2 is brilliant you and your son will both love it. Be VERY surprised when your dog sniffs out treasure, you dig, and it turns out to be a condom! Im not easily shocked in games but this made me laugh finding that in the grass!!!!!! That was before the point that I found the game was quite adult orientated!

 

mines crashed a few times after dieing , i think the xbox needs dusting ..lol i still cannot find rivet city ...help needed plz. ps i killed that bloody big ant ..woo hoo

You aren't meant to but if want to you can you get different Karma/rewards for it.

Wazo bottom rh corner of the map to get a marker just find someone who knows where it is such as Bryan Wilks

 

Or if you jump in the river and swim to the bottom right of the map you should get straight to rivet city.

 

I found Rivet city pretty easy by myself (killed 3 dog) just follow the river to the bottom right hand corner of the map. It's hard to miss when you get there.

Yep. Rivet City is a large boat that's split in two. You have to go up a metal platform and press a button to bring the bridge across to gain access to it. I walked straight past the place three times

Ohhhhhhh I see, lol. Will venture out back down there soon once I've sorted my disc situation. If anyone has read my problem already, what should I do? It crashes when I go to fast travel to anywhere, and I dont wanna start again or load an onl save.

Im tempted to just walk all the way back to megaton (from ferragut station) and save the game there on a seperate save, and then test to see if i can fast travel, hopefully that might solve it

 

TBH i found it ok but totally missed the bridge switch and sweared for 30mins as to how the hell you get in

As for Ash, you should be rotating atleast 5-6 save games constantly, just incase you kill somebody you shouldnt. Keep plenty of backup saves

 

I swam round the ship twice before finding the platform to get in. A good tip is to check the local map often as it will show any doors close by that you may have missed. (there are 2 doors for the broken bow.... be fast or you will drown.)

Just returned from the goul underworld and now have a gun happy goul side kick.. which is handy.. really should go to bed now.

 

Hmmm didn't think of that.....Since killing Dukov (Hell yeah I killed him only because of the sh@tload of scrap in his house! lol) I have felt guilty, well not so much GUILTY, but have been wondering if I should of done that incase I actually needed him later in the game!

 

You don't need Dukov only his key .

why do you need scrap ????? i only thought you need the caps ? still cannot find rivet city ....im all the way down the bottom near the museum ..and the bait shop..... i left dukov alone never killed him ...should i of killed him and whats his key worth ?????
