Points dropped again by all the 'big four'. Villa for the Prem!

Terry again with a reckless challenge. Maybe a harsh red but he did similar against Arsenal which was a red.

Just goes to show your ignorance and how quickly you forget that Liverpool didnt manage to win it in 2005. We can only play the teams that make it i.e. the teams that win their respective nations tournaments. Liga de Quito didnt just get to Japan by chance did they

i personally wasn't that bothered about us not winning it in 2005.

if you think winning two games of football means you're world champions then more the fool you.

meanwhile we're top at xmas, great feeling and humble pie for those we said our challenge would be over by november

Of course you werent. Its like those who say Im not bothered about winning the Carling Cup. Sure it aint at the top of the list but how can you say youd not prefer to win it rather than play and get beat???

And answer me this. If winning the Premier League, the UEFA Champions League and then going on to beat the respective winners in Asia, Africa and South America dont mean you are the best club in the world - what does?

Oh and Arsenal were top last Xmas and what did they win

Another easy 3 points today, Chelsea comfortable as well.

Must admit it's nice not to have to wait until deep into the match to scramble a win against 10 men.

How did Utd get on?

meanwhile 10 men stoke hold out to "world chumps" until the 83rd min. ronnie clearly wants to be at real.

Come on that would be Liverpool fans. We won the big double last season so if we dont win anything this year its not the end of the world. If we do take the Premiership (I dont think we will be able to stop chelsea imho - hope Im wrong) then that will be 18 league titles and Liverpool fans will have one less historical record to keep dragging up. It will also mean 19 years for Liverpool without winning the top division - thats gotta hurt

The 0-1 wins away from home (especially after playing in Japan) are just as, if not more, important than the 3-0 home wins. You can laugh but its 3pts at the end of the day. And remind me how you got on against Stoke at Home

I'm a bit upset with the performance today. Got the 5 live commentary on and after 39 mins we're 2 up, but they reckon it should be 8.

We really need to do better. I hope Torres is back soon, and Keane starts scoring or we're really in trouble.

I see Rafa's got Keane on the bench today as well!

Rafa out.

Newcastle players don't deserve to be paid after that performance. So bad. Crap management as well allowing Gerrard as much space as he wants between the defence and midfield. Liverpool murdered the.
