Going back in the thread again, yeah you asked on the 17th, so that gave us 2 DAYS to respond, LMAO!! So please explain how 2 days is a weeks notice??

I think I've received them as my dad told me a package arrived, but I'm sending them straight back in the morning and want a refund. Is your address on the package and is it the right one to send back to?

And how much is the shipping? Do you mean shipping from china or where ever you got the mirrors, plus UK shipping?

Firstly I didnt ask for your input? I'm not rude...so if I come across blunt and straight to the point, this isnt skool where I will hold your hand..sit you down and tell you so and so.

Mirrors were of 100% good quality. It was a fitment issue...yes thats right..fitment issue. It all boils back to...12 of 13 people responded, the one that doesnt respond is my fault? Dont reply to this I dont have time to your petty comment...or you getting off being a keyboard hero of some sort. Thank you.

TBH Haroon you've supplied goods that are not fit for purpose, you appear to act as a trader with the intention of making a profit. If the goods do not fit whether they have been shipped or not you are liable. Consumers have rights and the risk of things going wrong is carried by the trader. Conumers have statutory rights, including any issues and problems being resolved at no expense to themselves, including a FULL refund if appropriate.

I nearly bought some of the brembo brakes you advertised a while back, but after a little research I didn't feel comfortable. The way you have treated everyone here has only reinforced my concerns and I am glad that firstly I didn't buy the brakes from you and secondly that this group buy did not include newage mirrors.

I just hope that you have another income. I would hate my taxes to end up supporting you if you needed income support or jobseekers allowance because if you are a trader, with your current attitude, you won't be for long.

So Haroon, you give me 2 days to reply and even though I'm having to pay to send them back, you're also gonna charge me for shipping? You're taking the p!ss. Why did you send them out to me in the first place? I never said I wanted them, so why did you post them out to me? It doesn't make sense?

What if I told you I was in hospital and couldn't reply?! It's totally your fault, not mine. Tell you what, give me your address and I'll meet you in person.

Still haven't got a PM from you, so what address?

13 sets of mirrors and several sets of brakes (I've lost count) is not a garage sale.

Plus this lot for sale too...

eBay Seller: carbon crazy786: Cars, Parts Vehicles items on eBay.co.uk

I'm sure Inland Revenue will share that view.

These have a different base, and wouldn't have the gap issue i mentioned. Why not send these out instead?

So the fact that the email address you gave in post 189 is identical to the email address in the email listings is a coincidence

Hi, this problably won't help many of you, as most have had a refund, but heres the results of a mornings work fitting the mirrors.

Firstly, just to show how bad they are:

1, this should be flat! The biggest reason for poor fitment
Name: mirror3.jpg
Views: 0
Size: 158.7 KB
2, much bigger radius
Name: mirror2-1.jpg
Views: 0
Size: 126.1 KB
Firstly, i used an orbital sander to flaten the base of the mirror, then offered it up and marked the holes.

I then painted the base to seal the fiberglass.(sorry, forgot to take pics of this!)

After grinding the door surface flat(as M535I's guide), i fitted the mirror, you can see the gap at the front
Name: mirror6.jpg
Views: 0
Size: 86.5 KB
I then sealed the edges with black sealant
Name: mirror5.jpg
Views: 0
Size: 101.2 KB
The sealant looks brown, but isn't, just the camara!
Name: mirror1-1.jpg
Views: 0
Size: 123.0 KB
With the door shut, looks much better
Name: mirror4.jpg
Views: 0
Size: 114.3 KB
And the result
Name: mirror7.jpg
Views: 0
Size: 49.1 KB

Sorry for the dirty car!

Well, you've had our money for 6 weeks, and your getting worked up over a week without payment? I'd be prepared to wait a little longer!
