Very rarely drink, doesn't seem fair on the mrs since she can't (being pregnant and all). The last time we had any in the house she bought it for me to be nice and it was a big bottle of Peroni.
That said, i like a real ale and am a CAMRA member (it isn't all beards and tweed either - worth a look) so if we do go out it is usually for a few proper ales rather than warm lager/wife beater in town!

Lots of Stella drinkers here then...!
Where did it all go wrong for the beer they call 'wife beater'? | Mail Online
Don't drink loads but do enjoy what I do have.

Can't remember the last time I bought beer for home.
Usually bring a few bottles of wine back from France or Italy when travelling.
This is my favourite pub - fantastic beer selection, so quite happy to sink a few pints there

Pub = very little, maybe a bottle with a meal.
Home = Box of wine at weekend £11, Couple of bottles mid week £6, maybe a crafty four pack £4
Not bad for £21, probably borderline units between us.

OOoooh I used to do that.
Bloody horrible stuff! Well, the **** I used to brew was. 4/5 pints of it would wipe you out and literally have you on the bog all the next day

Someone has a great quote in their sig on here - something along the lines of 'If I had all the money I spent on booze back - I'd spend it on booze again.'

Until recently probably about £50 a week at home, plus the missus. Dropped now to a bottle of wine or two a week between us.
Thankfully. My liver was starting to hurt.
