Gomorrah. The journalist Roberto Saviano who wrote the original book has been under police protection since writing it.

Casino
Goodfellas
Scarface
Carlito's Way
Donnie Brasco
Reservoir Dogs
Pulp Fiction
Godfather I,II,III
Blow

You can't compare Guy Richies films to any of the above. Granted some of his films have been great films, ****** is one of my most favourite films. I think the closest British film to the above might have to be Rise of the Footsoldier. Great film.

Most decent ones have been mentioned. American Gangster is pretty good as well.

Quoted for truth, 1 and 2 are superb films.

Remember switching on half way through Get Carter and seeing Alf Roberts getting bitch slapped by Michael Caine and thinking that Coronation Street had taken a turn for the better.
