The thing a Subaru gives you that most other marques do not, is upgradability...

If you bought an M3 or Porker you'd be far less likely to tinker with it in a year or 2. Whereas the T20... I could see a number of tweaks a subaru enthusiast would want to install...

There are a number of clasics and newages on here with £k's spend on them.... they're upgrade cost/market value is just as bonkers asd buying a £37k impreza... they just haven't added up the £'s and time spent

it is a great package that works so well together A lot of scooby owners would be suprised how good it is

As long as 1,3,5, 20, 40 & 49 come out tonight, he'll have another order tomorrow LOL

I'm going to put your numbers on each week too. That way if you ever win you'll only be getting half the jackpot at best

  • I bought all my scoobs by driving them and not by looks
  • The MY08STi UK/EU is in a far better starting place than a STD UK 4Door
  • I could feel £3K of improvements made to a Base 4door newage STi
  • I couldn't feel enough improvements made with £3K to the Base newage hatch STi
  • The MT08 T20 did it all for me, driving heaven

I would like to think this myself but for example you could get a 996 03 turbo with

2003 03 Reg PORSCHE 911 996 Turbo - c£39k Upgraded to 670BHP!!! <-- with less than 40k miles...

I think that would be enough for anyone If you check autotrader you can find many with some good tweaks and getting anywhere near 0-60 in 4 seconds and to top it great looks, these cars like the RS4 are very appealing.... Note I do like my Subaru but they are not the best cars even now within their price bracket as you can get the cars I mentioned above at different years like 03 and up for good prices.....

Yeah but that's 5 year old car, I know it's a Porsche but still. Not really apples to apples comparison, I'd like both in my garage though haha

Lol I love my subaru too .. but if you look at my previous comparison I gave cars within a year of the subaru like 07-57 plates, etc go look for yourself. This was just one example of a Porsche with high upgrades. That I picked at random from Autotrader.

I used to think to make the same arguments but with prices the way they are now and the prices being asked for some subaru's,... well there are just a lot of very good options out there imho
