Plus, a back injury has left my spine a tad unhealthy and as a result ive not been to a gym or a dojo for over 4 months, so i am far more overweight than that year old picture. In fact, id have looked more overweight there too had i breathed out, but i thought i was on a promise. LOL

Martial arts are great. Kickboxing is very demanding, though. I tried a bit of kickboxing myself, but certain injury (not harsh, but still restrictive) prevented me from continuing it. There are some kickboxing enthusiasts here on SN too. You will bump into them sooner or later.
You may not have been to the gym for 4 months or so, but your built evidenty shows that you have been a serious workout regular
