Not great news so far on the STi front from Carstins as it would seem that they hadn't taken into account the fact that sum of their employees are just SOOO selfish. I mean fancy the person who was guna drive it down wanting to go to take part in a rally on the same date as our meet. I did say it was selfish but i think he could tell i was just jealous
lol. Anyway guna try & see if we can still get someone 2 drive it down from carstins (any volunteers?
) but not looking too promising right at this moment.
He was very eager to seee if we fancied doing the next meet over at carstins thou with the joys of hospitality etc so it's definately worth considering but all that's for a future date which presuming Neal doesn't do an Eddie the eagle off sum cliff
he will be only too pleased 2 sort
So we nuneatonians arranging a meet up place then? Any cunning plans for a location?

how about meeting at the crows nest then driving over thru bulkington etc unless of course u feel the need 4 a burn down da motorway? Say meet at crows nest @ at 13:30 if no1 objects & go on2 Antsy arms from there

Yeah spoke 2 Martin @ Carstins again this morning in the hope sumin had miraculously appeared but the STi is a no go this weekend.
However they were still VERY interested in a future meet up @ Carstins & was fishing for the next date so i said nowt planned yet watch this space. He did seem to think that if we met there thou that test drives in the STi wood b possible as they wood have insurance cover or sumin. Also reckoned they could get sum group N rally car at such a meet & kud get taken 4 a drive in that although only in the passenger aspect of course NB apparently it's owned by sum coppers so Darren u fancy going 4 a ride in the back of a police mans motor & tell him how slow he's going in his mildly modified motor
roflmao.
Anyway they obviously benefit from trying 2 win over sum local scooby owners who might use em in future but it's worth considering i guess? Anyway that's 2b decided so watch this space init..............

Bugger another 1 escapes wot is it with this rallying stuff how can rallying b better than lookin at scoobs now flower arranging or crochet i kud understand, i dunno u lot r strange lol
OK on the crows nest front say leave there @ 13:35 as while it only takes about 15 mins or so depending on traffic etc i like 2b punctual So i shall probably be there @ 06:00

Yay at last i've finally managed to find a willing new victim to engage in the joys of scooby land. Ah the flyers have paid off as while wandering round Nuneaton the other day wot do i c but a nice little WRX. In for sum work mind so might not get it back in time but all things going well i shall be adding Darren in his lill beast to the list

Here's a good idea...
Next meet someone post a flyer in the forum so that we can print it out and stick it on scoob's that we see. Info like place, time and a small map.
I've since seen 2 Impreza's in Rugby that I know won't be coming to the meet but I never have a pen on me to stick a note under there windscreen wipers to tell them about these things.
Just a thought..

no i didn't do that. I used the extra sticky double-sided adhesive tape (waterproof i hope!) i had and it works a treat. Saves making holes that 'might' end up looking messy.

p.s I drilled my front plate from the reverse side and stuck the back one on with 5mm number plate stickers from Halfords.

I do hope it's sunny now on Sunday as i wana wear me scooby shades
although that does mean i'll have 2 clean all the shyte off me car & the minor dent will be more blatent
