how's it going? Didn't realise you'd got an exige !!!! I fookin love exiges, tell me it's not an exige s in white as I'd have to kill you through jealousy, lol. How you finding the exige, get some pics up in other marques mate. Be interested to here how you're getting on with it, exige s is deffo on my list of cars to own - will have to wait until prices drop below 20k though Seen a couple around £23k so hopefully by end of next year
If you're ever in my neck of the woods I'd appreciate a spin round the block
Yep, my old 34 is back up for sale, awesome car, I'd buy it back in a heartbeat if I had the money, damm my Mrs wanting to move to a bigger house, lol

Ron, that car owes you nothing by now so i'd bet a new gearbox didn't hurt too much! Vid of Combe for you - still learning! Lotus Exige S - Castle Combe - December 08 on Vimeo
Chris - afriad it is an Exige S Running a Gotham ECU and bigger injectors so it's putting out about 250 bhp now It's dark grey though rather than white If you do plan to buy one, just give me a shout. I may be selling next year but not decided if I like the *new* Datsun that much yet! Either way you are welcome to a go in it. The experience is a must!

I do miss the old scoobs though...

Loving the exige mark. Does it feel quick? I know your backside is about 2 inches off the ground which helps but do you get the same buzz of acceleration like when the scooby comes on boost? Think I need to go test drive one.
I love the new datsun also, looks much better in the flesh than in the pictures, don't think I'll be able to afford one of those until about 2015

Very quick! I've take a few people out in it who have been fairly shocked It's not quite the shove of a turbo, it's more linear like an Evo, but due to the weight you do feel some shove. It's the overall package though, strong brakes, lightning reactions etc.

Best of luck with sale. Hang in there as mine eventually sold, just takes time for right buyer to come along.

**** knows
Ask the previous owner, he spec'd the car and carried out all the mods !!!
Maybe he intended to mod further so bought a turbo capable of running more power????
Either way, the car is a hoot to drive, is plenty quick enough and there's no worry that the turbo is being over stressed.
The next owner can up the power if they want to, I'm quite happy with it's current state of tune - bhp/torque figures are for pub talk and aren't everything, it's how the car drives that's important! I can get a dyno print out showing an extra 30 bhp/torque depending on which rollers I take the car to but thought I'd be honest with the power output
Most cars I've seen running alleged 400+ with similar mods don't actually make anything near that or need a drop of meths
Rant over
