one of my parents friends was called ben jay, always made me and mates laugh at weddings and stuff on the table plan, Mr & Mrs B Jay.

used to do work at a paint place in Bolton and there was a Richard Bender work there. All the doors in the corridor had the name of the person who worked in that office and it would have the full name. Except his which had R. Bender!

At an old job there was a Robert Sole. . . .not too bad until he put his initial and surname on anything.
How about addresses? Once knew someone who lived at The Kennels, Peover Park, Over Peover which believe it or not is in Knutsford
