A few performance cars before this lot, but I don't think they had digital cameras then!

1998 - Escort Cosworth

2000 - RS Turbo (don't ask!)

2000 - Import Subaru WRX

2001 - Escort Cosworth

2003 - RS500

2005 - UK Subaru STi for 4 weeks!

2005 - till present Spec C Impreza
Enough pictures of this on ScoobyNet!

Just topping up what these have cost me in vehicle purchase price alone over the past 10yrs..... £109,500.00!!!!

And these have all been 2nd toys and not the primary travelling cars either.

Jesus.... right, where was my copy of Top Marques!

Thanks.

Car was virtually unmarked with 26k on the clock when I bought it. I then spanked fort knox on it to get to 500bhp! The previous owner was THE Adrian Newey of F1 fame. I was also told (from someone that knows Brodie Britain and recognised my car) that Frank Williams was taken for a passenger ride in it and **** his pants (it was 400bhp at the time). roflol

Newest to oldest and a few bangers (Festa 950's etc) inbetween that I never took a pic of! Had about 17 cars in total.

Golf GTI 8v 110bhp est

Evo IV 261bhp

Saxo VTR 90bhp est

Escort 1.4 75bhp est

RS2000 4X4 165bhp

Crashed this beast.

Escort RS Turbo 174bhp

TIP: Stay away from these, they break everytime you drive them.

Escort 1.6 90bhp est

Put a 1.6 engine in a 1.3 and kept the 4 speed gearbox!

My mate Alpina has just sold his 3 door Harvey Gibbs 420/400 proper fast car and gutted to see it go, And agreed they are mental unlike Subaru's.

I miss the cossie's but thought it was about time to cut the costs and go for a Subaru lol

Add another 100bhp with the bang of a T4 @ 36psi boost.

I had a misfire problem on my RS500, but unfortunately we could not get the car to hold traction on PowerStation's rollers to emulate it. It was a case of trying things and then me taking it down the M5 to see if it was fixed. The last time this happened it was raining. I floored it in the outside lane, came on boost, and the back end stepped out as I snaked down the carriageway. My pants filled quite quickly. It was at that point I knew that 500bhp was way too much with that kind of chassis.

I must admit though, my Spec C is so much quicker than the RS500 ever was. Perhaps in a straight line, rolling, the Cossie may of been slightly quicker, but not by much.

You wouldnt get me in one of those things again!

Sold the Golf and got a BMW 318is

I had the RS2000 from 1975 to 1984. This pic was taken on 7/7/77.

I had the Cosworth from 1988 to 1999. Fantastic car, maintained by Brooklyn at Redditch (350 mile round trip!)

Then I had my first Scoob from 1999 to 2005, when the T25 I currently have arrived

There have been lots of others over the years, but it would take hours to sort out the pictures, most of which are on slides.

Still love the RS2000. White and blue was the best colour combo. I had a yellow/orange one
