Also the amount of scruffy goals Liverpool score is comical, Kuyt yesterday totally miss hit that winner and it was pure luck it went in just like his miss hit shot against Milan did 2 years ago, also remember the Chelsea no goal at Anfield that should have been as the ball was well over the line and it wan`t given, remember the Arsenal stone wall penalty at anfield that wasn`t given in the champions league 2nd leg.

Take Gerrard and the luck away from Liverpool and they would do f-all.
This is what I love about SN, sound reasoned arguments, well made and thought out.

Read my previous post, LIVERPOOL in another SCRUFFY lucky goal wins a game shock! Never mind Chelsea they don`t just do it to you.

The amount of times Liverpool score goals from miss hit shots that go in and huge deflected shots that were going nowhere is amazing, it really is.

Another Liverpool win where they needed help to get the ball in the back of the net, if its not the opposition having a player sent off to help Liverpool to get back into the game then its Liverpool having a scruffy deflected or miss hit shot go in the net or a penalty awarded to them.

This team really is comedy, take away the luck Liverpool have along with taking Gerrard out of the team and Liverpool would be struggling as they have been poor in a lot of games this year and a help in hand from the ref or a scruffy lucky shot has got them results.

What about Torres? Funny how Man Utd struggled to play when they didn't have Ronaldo now look at them "1 man team" mmm i'm not sure. And if were talking deflected/lucky goals how many did Lampard score a few seasons back his shots weren't even on target and they still managed to end up in the back of the net thanx to the deflections.

Luck swings in roundabouts and we have had some this year. Maybe it's just our year

Jesus man, show a little backbone eh?

We battered Spurs. Should have been 5 up before they scored. Just one of those games.

It's only one game fella and it was always going to be a difficult one once Harry arrived
Too many decent players there desperate to impress the new gaffer, although I have to say I was disappointed in the way they lost it

You might not believe me when i say this but i watched the game and as soon as we subbed Keane we played tosh, Keane was linking the play and bringing gerrard into the game.

Spurs changed the way they played when Keane was subbed he may not have scored the 10+ goals people think he should have scored so far this season but he's starting to fit in - the goals will come, faith

how many times do you see a team get battered like that and end of losing? we didnt take our chances today and got on the wrong end of it.

Upcoming fixtures look good and expect torres to be back for wednesday

Merry Xmas Liverpool x

I was pleased he scored the pen though. I had the volume up to full and couldn't hear a thing, I was worried my tv was shot. Luckily I heard the crowd then and all was well. Will they be searching the fans on the way out for the sniper rifle used on Stevie? Poor lad must have taken a bullet to go down like that!
