Yeah mate, depending on the coefficients of the tides the tide can come in only a few meters leaving over a mile wide of beach showing (Neap tide).
Other times it can come all the way in and flood the entire beach (Spring tide)
Staggering amount of playground though. Having that mach run of just made you want to throw bigger and bigger moves.

Yep .. But certain tides called NEAP / CO EEF Or something another mean that the water when in (High Tide) Is still 1 mile away from the shore , Coupled with the 8 miles length you have a massive playground to buggy in
It's great to buggy & the waters edge just blasting through the puddles / Little rivers left by the water going out
The wind never really got (On shore) Whilst we were there so never got to do the 8 mile run , but diagonally across the beach was a mile each way !!
Every route you take it's on virgin sand

For me thee were no OBE'S the wind is so clean & constant , thee are no nasty surprises looming , It was 20mph most the weekend i flew my 7m Blurr both days , Something i dare not fly over the park in the with the turbulent wind associated with in land flying
But yes the sand does get EVERYWHERE !!!

Sand is completely different to jump on than grass. Its changes in its consistancy and can be tricky to get comfortable with. Sometimes its lumpy and awkward with the tyre pressure you have to run when jumping on the beach. SDometimes its sticky and you struggle to make the speed required to cut a hard enough edge to jump. Also landing is alot less forgiving when the sand is sticky as the buggy grips if you come in a little sideways. It can grip the buggy and flip you out.
I nailed alot of tricks this weekend that i hand attempted before purely because i had so much room to try and throw bigger stuff.
I had a number of OBEs purely from trying new stuff and trying too hard.
Cant wait to go again

It really is mate , The pics do not do it any justice at all .
And just 10 minutes from the tunnel terminal , 10 minutes from the shopping centre Citi Europe , 10 mins from our base the E Tap hotel , it really is such a simple trip to do , When the nights are a little longer a day trip really would be possible , But for the cost of a room ( £30 pp ) IMHO It's really worth staying over for the night

Some of their faces when i passed em going backwards and then past some racer on 2 wheels was hillarious. He didnt look impressed

Fun jumping the Blurr too, i think id take your 7m up in 30mph and it would be pretty good

Shame nobody goy a pic of my tweeked sidewinders. I had some huge tail whips that i dont think got caught on cam.
What the others wont appreciate is that you cant take that many pics because we could litereally be buggying a mile away from eachother and not think anything of it lol

Well with no buggying this weekend or next
I Thought that it would be an ideal opportunity to get the ole "Billykart" Stripped down & off to the local powder coaters for a bit of a jolly up
So she was dropped of in bits this morning for the bead blasting treatment & taken back to the bare aluminum , Then prepped & re powder coated in a completely new colour
Once back the new rear wheels , new seat , new siderail covers , new rear buggybag will be installed & she will be good to go again
