Well guys,
What can i say other than im absolutely off my face with excitement today.
Joined Al and John over the park today for a pre-work fly. Wind was okay but a little gusty, sitting at a constant 13/15mph but did get a little hairy once or twice with some gusts. Peaking at 22mph.
Excersied caution due to the conditions and decided to fly about for a bit and get the feel of the seatbelt and my newly adjusted seat. Belt worked and felt great and really made me feel so much more connected to the buggy. I felt right at home almost straight away.
Warmed myself up a little before slowly teasing the kite over my head and getting used to the rediection required before i pushed it just hard enough to get airborn!
Yes thats right actually got off of the ground, only about an inch or 2 to begin with but it felt like feet lol. By this point i was absolutely buzzing and still playing caution to the wind pushed a little harder and then a little more before bang, a full blown air and i was about 18 inches off the ground. Nice redirection bought a nice floaty landing and a wee slide towards the kite.
After pushing this far i decided id have a chill out and collect myself for a bit before going out again, by the end of today i had got air probably about 20 times and my last 2 were "to me anyway" massive. Had a good solid 2, maybe 3 feet of air under the buggy and again a nice floaty landing.
Al managed to get some snaps of my first jumps of which hopefully i will post up later.
Also found banging it up on 2 wheels much much easier now im strapped in.
Above all im absolutely stoked beyond beleif and cany contain my excitement. I was shaking for about an hour after my session and am still buzzing now. The line between fear and euphoria is razor thin but wow it was amazing.
So there we have it... im finally a buggy jumper!!
Cant wait for tomorrow

Col, mine goes in a mk3 fezza so you'll have no worries. Bang the rear seats down, have the rear wheels off (19mm socket) and then put it in with the front wheel snug between the 2 front seats.
Looking forward to seeing you out on it

col, frayz made some up and i think they worked out about a tenner, but they are Frayz built and good for up to 500 BHP. have a word with him and im sure he wont mind making a couple up over the festive period whilst stuffed to the gills with mince pies and turkey. !!!
you can even choose a nice bright colour !!
if you want a number plate like spallys also let me know and i'll get MarkRB5 on the case !!!
welcome to Club Buggy and wish you a safe and enjoyable experience mate !!
i'm by no means an expert, but if you want me to take time out with you and spally, just let me know mate and i'll be happy to walk beside you and guide you safely. dont feel shy, just ask. Its what we are all here for and makes the whole experience worthwhile
all the best

Ryan and Mick should be joining us Sunday too mate, so should make for a good crack. I just hope the wind is more consistant than today as it was a bit unuseable today for me really.
Gusty and generally on off.
Still loving my Blade though
