i was thinking about his the other day, even if you plan to just cruise i personally think full face is the way to go. I mean if you are steaming along and come un stuck without one you are going to get a face full of dirt followed by possibly broken nose/cheek bone. Full face for me

Lol, just finished the new safety release for the new harness. This is my new Ozone XC snowkite harness with "D" ring fixture.
Fits really nice, feels light and comfortable.
Tested the Wichard and it works a treat with a mock setup, i'll try it properly on the kite at the weekend.
The Wichard is the 110mm version with a 6mm Wichard "flush screw" D shackle.
I then made the quick release from 6mm line, 7mm clear poly hose and 2x 35mm toggle *****. They work really well and hopefully should provide a clutter and tangle free solution to the captive system.
I have both a Petzl mini and Petzl fixe rollers coming this week so i can choose which one i like to use most.
Hope you like it

(Libre race seat harness (M) and Arminator for sale, very little use

I have my ;ibre seat harness with semi captive roller if you want to try that mate but i really think youre better off getting confident in the buggy before you get strapped up.
Its a totally different feeling to flying on your arms alone. It will mess with your progress if you get one yet, but youre welcome to try mine out for size and feel

Lol,mate im never gonna knock anyone for jumping in straight away lol.
Im no observer of the softly, softly approach lol.
I said Dazza could have first dibs on my Libre but i want £85 for it. That inc everything youd need inc spreader bar and strop line.
Cost £130 new and has very little use indeed

Looks fine to me fella, but all i waill say is that teh Etrex looks a little more durable compared to that.
Should be fine, just thinking incase you smack it, ya know.

Yes mate, that the base spec Etrex like mine, they also do a couple of other variants of Etrex with more features but that one is good enough.
Thats what i use and i find it a great little bit of kit
