Cold, wet and slippery today, but what a day !!!!

Think it was the most enjoyable session so for me personally...

the wind was right over in the corner and was a real mission to tack back, but persevered and persevered and woo hoo back to the peg about and hour later...

think there was about 15mph gusts ( i didnt look at the wind-ometer)

Tiny had the most spectacular "off" i've seen so far in the vegetable patch !!

got home soaked and cold, but a hot shower and bacon sarnie did the trick!!

i think spally is chomping at the bit now to get his gear!!!!

 

Jeez ... Im a litte sore now i tell ya

Lol @ the Massive OBE Overpowered 3.5 Head first in the cabbage field , Landed on my head with the buggy somersaulting on top of me , Landed 6 foot in front of where it all started , But Ouch just a lttle sprain to my wrist !!


Walked everything back to base & put the kettle on & took stock of the situation , Shrimpo helped me change the damaged bridle line on my 2.5 & i flew this underpowered to get my confidence back , After another adjustment to my new downtube everything was starting to feel a little better.

Was very testing conditions today & i struggled to get to grips with the kites & the buggy today , But it's all part of the learning curve , Shrimpo added if we can fly in those condittions today then we can fly in any conditions so that's good enough for me

Man of the day - Andy top sidewards action all day loving the race kite

Most improved - Dazza , Superb to day mate well done

was nowhere near there as long as Tiny & dazza, but boy it was hard work. even had the bugy doing backwards/sidewards and every other way but forward on 1 run!!!! But hey ho, us newbies need to fly in different conditions otherwise we aren't gonna learn!!!

Dont seem to be aching as much this week!!! lol
