wind is stronger now nearly lost what i had in my hand when i just stepped out the door

 

Guys, had an absolutely epic last min session.

We flew from 6pm till the sun went down. We had a bang onshore easterly and were powered to the absolute ***** on our 6.5m Blades.

I was throwing some massive 180's, 360s and 540's out there. Was absolutely amazing.

One scary moment was when one of my lines snapped on take off for a one handed invert. The mainline sanpped and i got dumped. Happened when i was only about 2ft up, when the load is greatest.

It seem Flexifoil extreme lines are not as extreme as i need them to be lol. They have a breaking load of 250kg and ther are 4 on each kite lol!!!

Gotta get some Ozone 360kg lines this week. Pisser!

Really dont want a line failure in competition next week!

 

blimmey, wouldnt want a breakage at any time!!! especially when you are mid flight!!!

We too have said we'd like to see you guys in action - but you can guarantee the wind will have dropped by the time we get from deepest Hertfordshire!

Lol, ive ridden for teh last 3 days.

I need to repair my harness and needed to get new lines today.

Now up to 360kg breaking on each line

i have too much stuff to sort out before i go to Swansea on Friday. Still go down the park. There will most likely be people there

Cheers guys. Looks like a wet weekend and its gonna be blowing its **** off. Pretty daunting to be honest.

Already had a call from Will McKean, (Already parked up), he said its like a VW fest there with all the campers and all of the pro kitesurfers are already there.

Cant wait to get down there and rip it up with the big boys

 

i know yr there already but hope u enjoy (enjoyed) every min of it and come bk with plenty of pics and stories
