looking to have a weekend away somewhere with the family, so may try and incorporate a day at the beach kite watching aswell

 

Can highly recomend Westward Ho! mate. Gorgeous surroundings and nice big beach to play on

Got in a cheeky session tonight at my local field. Was gusty and a right struggle to do anything special. Stareted to get a bit thermally and dangerous so i called it a day and came home.

 

Westward good, but fair old run 250 miles each way...

Camber Sands would also be good, think there is a Pontins right on the beach

Not loads around but would be a good weekend in fact it would make a good family weekend away as a group maybe worth a thought loads to do for all the family and we can pop out to the beach during the day loving it

what happened to kiting tomorrow (mon)? is there enough wind, it was quite windy today when i was at the top of a ladder painting

 

Only 8,9,10MPH Forecasted tommorow , Think today was the day

 

Only 13mph or so forecast but we had a mental gustyday down the kitepark.

Wind was N/NW and was gusting in at around 28mph or so.

Far too silly on a Blade so i banged the 5m Blurr out. What an epic little kite it turned into in those winds. When the wind came through it was awesome and i was throwing kiteloop after kiteloop!

So much so that i went for a fully powered aerial loop and snapped one of my main bridle lines. We fixed it quick so i could still fly but it will be getting a new replcement bridle when i get the chance.

Never jumped so high and so floaty on the Blurr before and the kiteloops were just amazing.

Had such an awesome day. Not flown in crazy winds with confidence like that for ages!

Awesome, and i think tomorrow could bring more of the same

The wind did pick up wish I had gone now done nothin else

Didnt ride today as i was working on a friends VW camper. Had a big session yesterday. Will try and get some mid week time and next weekend

Comp is the BKSA freestyle championship and the first round is at Swansea Bay in Wales on th 16/17 May.

The other rounds are at Blackpool and Redcar.

So nothing local
