Hi mate
Only some hankook ventus sports k104 some of the guys on here said they are very good so i'll try them, very hard to find something to fit her.
They look good on the rims though....
I've also bought a magnex 3" back box to try and shut it up.
Took the car out last night first time since rally day still feels good...

Talkin off tyre's i'm stuck on what to use,
Had a good look at my bridgestone and there not going to be any good if its wet and they are practically finished any way, i don't really want to use my 18 inch Bridgestone RE050's on the track as they are really a road tyre and will last a while if I don't use them on the 20th.
Any one got any ideas for a reasonable all round tyre to use for wet and dry on my 17's?????

They perform well, without costing as much as R888's.
Although i think Budgie got a very good deal from Mocom for a set of R888's, so might be worth considering.

Hi mate
Got them from tyres online @ mytyres.co.uk: cheap passenger tyres, summer tyres, winter tyres and tyre dealer
And yes they are 18" 215/35/18" which i needed to fit my classic....
put them on today and took it for a spin in the wet and thats all i did was spin ha great fun should have them cut in before brands so let hope it's dry..

Iv got a tyre choice problem too GUv. Iv got 2x sets of RE070s, one almost finished & another pretty new. Neither will be any good in cold & wet. Most people say RE070 are good in dry but not in wet, especially if very cold.
Do you lot think any of two below would better in such weather?
Falken 452
Toyo Proxy T1R
(Iv not inc Verdestein Ultrasac/Goodyear Eagle F1/MPs2/Yoko Advan Neuvo etc which are all excellent tyres, but too much money after just forking out for RE070's)

not used them myself, but sure they will be fine
i am planning to use my worn 888's whatever the weather
will have some t1r's on standby though

on average how long will a set of tyres last? 2000 miles on them. will use them fairly hard on track(weather permitting) quite hard compound.
dunno whether to take a spare set with me, but would have to leave to have them fitted as i dont have a spare set of wheels. just trying to get the prep work done in advance
