Nova 1.3 SR (E plate at 18 years). Non modified.

Pug 106 GTI (V plate at 19 years). Brand new, non modified. Awesome car!

Citroen 1.4 AX GT (G plate at 20 years). Went to uni so downgraded. Leda suspension and bigger brakes. Some engine work (heads, cams, filter, exhaust). To this day, the most fun car I've owned!

Pug 205 1.6 GTI (G plate at 21 years). Wrote off the the AX GT in my only ever accident... big lesson learnt. Magnex exhaust and K&N Induction.

Subaru Impreza 2000 Turbo with PPP (V plate at 24 years). Year after uni so graduation present to myself. Blitz Nur Spec R exhaust only mod. 267/268 on Engine Advantaged Rolling Road.

Pug 205 1.9 Mi16 (D plate at 26 years). Track car, huge spec. Basics - fully stripped, roll cage, 1.9 Mi16 block, twin webbers, forged internals, balanced, flowed and ported inlet manifold and heads, uprated cams, estimated at 220 bhp, Bilstein suspension, bigger brakes. Absolute monster on track!!

1991 Vauxhall Nova Merit,first car so loved it,wrote it off,smashed it into a Nissan 300ZX parked up........looking at a bird bending over at a bus stop
1991 Citroen AX GT500 limited edition to 500,seriously seriously unreliable...but a hell of a laugh,first gear was amazing,killed my mates clio 16v to 30mph.........wouldnt go more than 90
1994 Nissan Sunny 1.6SR,had 2 grands worth of stereo in it,made my ear bleed once!Smashed it into a house....only had it a week
1991 Toyota MR2 Turbo,270 bhp......rear wheeled drive.....wet.....LETHAL
1990 Peugeot 205 1.9 GTI,like a go-kart,had it a month,blew the gearbox up showing off to a mate
1994 BMW M3 3.0 convertible,beautiful car,only had 17000 miles on it...even had the original front tyres on it (13 years ) sold due to people calling me a posh **** head when I had the roof down

No the X isn't something that entices me TBH, Sure its a great car but i've got the IX set up to my satisfaction so for 7 months it'll keep the blood rushing.

I've got a Ultimate Silver one on the way, i agree the choice is limited but the Silver has now just become a £1700 option so think it was the right choice in the end and having seen them all lined up at Silverstone i'm happy with the selection..........still when it arrives it could just get wrapped in matt black
