He is 19 and just starting in the England team so give him a break, I think he can be forgiven for taking 15 minutes to settle down and then score a hat trick against a team that has never been beaten competitively at home and to who we lost both our previous 2 games against. Like I said, he is not a winger in terms of creating chances/crosses for other players although he does do that for Arsenal at times but for me he is a striker and with that pace and finishing I can't see how he can be anything else. I know what Wenger is doing by playing him on the wing, that is where Henry played before becoming one of the World's best strikers in his day and it obviously did him good.

I thought Rooney played superbly in the second half and continually looked for Walcott to make use of his pace, the first half he was far too deep and defending all the time. A. Cole was shocking in the first half and Terry did not inspire confidence either. Calamity James was flapping all over the place and a couple of times he was fortunate to not get caught out by being miles off his line when he had no reason to be.

It wasn't a perfect performance by any means but a damn site better than against Andorra and some of the build up play in the second half was very good and shows promise that we can play very good exciting football, something we haven't done for quite a while.

The red card was for dangerous play and no question in my opinion, he led with his elbow hard and the gash on Coles head was massive. That is dangerous play and I don't understand anyone who says otherwise.

On the question of the left, I think Walcott could play there and do just as well leaving the right for Bentley to whip in crosses. The last goal he scored for Arsenal he came in from the left and was the spitting image of Henry curling a ball into the far right corner.
