Thanks for the reply, marklou.
Next question - if I'm running a Profec-B boost controller so am not worried about the ECU controlling the boost, would this ECU suit a WRX wagon which as marklou rightly stated has got a TD04?

Cheers!

if its an import wagon NO.

I had a boost controller running with no problem.

You have a TD04 so it wont be suitable

No. It fits the MY93-96 v.1/2 4-plug loom (v.3 is 3-plug).

At the moment, you can't do anything with the MY97/98 v.3/4 OEM ECU (although Enduring Solutions are allegedly currently working on it) other than get a replacement ECU e.g. Apexi, Simtek, etc.
