The appeal of Sharron Davies has to be the fact she keeps herself fit and athletic which is such a refreshing change to the overweight, lazy munters that seem to be taking over the planet.
Facially she's quite hard looking but overall as a package she has to be classed as having good sex appeal.
That Sarah Jessica Parker though, well, what a slim munter.

The hard face probably comes from a low body fat index. Women generally have 6-7% higher BFI which is what gives them their rounded figure and softer facial appearance. Females whom exercise vigorously tend to have BFI's similar to males and thus can have a slightly masculine facial look.

Isn't that a common complaint about Hi-def, as far as the actors etc are concerned? I believe there's been a significant change in how make-up and prosthetics are applied, as well as how much attention has to be paid to costume details. The Tudors the other night was a prime example, Henry's cuffs had loads of loose threads on, which you probably wouldn't notice in good old PAL625/50.

I don't see what all the fuss is about. There were better looking women in the gym on Friday when I went for a quick work-out. And they talk to me. 
I do feel sorry for their guide-dogs though - surely they must get hot in the sauna?

You don't have to look at the mantelpiece whilst stoking the fire. Approach from the rear, and there's all that lovely long hair to hold on with. Mind you , I'm obviously not that fussy, I'd happily stare at her face whilst being sha$%ed to death.
Sadly that's as likely to happen as George Dubya getting a question right during a round of junior Mastermind.

I have to say that I'm really surprised at this thread, I'm really surprised that you all think she's a stunner because I've always considered her to not be 'pretty' in the traditional sense. I've always thought that she looked very masculine.
However having seen those pics of her in her knickers
I can see what it is you are all going on about, she has an amazing body, albeit a very athletic one but it's nice to see that women who don't fit the 'traditionally pretty' bill are still considered to be attractive and 'doable'
