All it really proves is that their are more classic owners on here than hawkeye owners. Why people vote for their own type regardless of their true opinion is beyond me... you have nothing to prove to anyone

Most bugeye owners we know you bought that because the blob and hawkeye were too expensive for you at the time lol

I voted classic by the way since there is no 2 door classic option. I'd still rather own a hawkeye though.

Well it ain't really that important, but as I said even though I owned an 03 STI for four years I would still have voted for the classic on looks. At the end of the day just enjoy your cars people yes even you hatchback owners LOL!

That is spot on Mikkel. I would have bought a Hawk money permitting but had to get the blob which I'm very happy with. your 1st line is whats really happening. i'm sure most people would prefer to own a 20K car to a 3K car!

There you go again, the poll is about looks not value.

I bought my Bugeye because i liked it,
1) it's different, and 2) it's not everyday you see one.

So by your statement that means you bought a Hawkeye just to show everyone that you have the money too?

And in actual fact when i was looking, Bug's were fetching more £ than Blobs anyway.

It's all down to the individual, it's like asking which flavour ice cream is tastier.

If i wanted a picture of a car

1) Hawkeye STi
2) 22b
3) Hatch STi
4) V6 Type R
5) Bugeye STI (Prodrive version)
6) Blobeye STi

to own

1) Hawkeye STi
2) Hatch STi
3) Bugeye STI ( Prodrive version)
4) 22b
5) V6 Type R
6) Blobeye STi

So my score would be overall

1) Hawkeye STi (12)
2) Hatch STi (9)
3) 22b (8)
4) Bugeye STI (Prodrive version) (6)
5) V6 Type R(5)
6) Blobeye STi (2)

Yes this is my Bais opinion

Tony

A years or so ago the 22B would have been = Top

i voted classic quite simply because i believe it is the better looking car...not the old v3's...but the more dated models ie p1 etc...and the 22b takes some beating...but like i said the hawkeyes comes very close as i do love that car also...just not quite as much as the classic.

I did say most not all.

How do you come to that conclusion?

to much of this has made me

i'm only on a wind up matey,

One thing i will agree, is that i bought a WRX because i couldn't afford an STI, but it was the additional costs not the price of buying the car.

Insurance, brakes etc. (Insurance was nearly £700 more)

A totally unbiased, non-Subaru owning opinion...

Forester

Imprezas only, it'd be:
Classic Wagon
Hatch
Classic Sedan
Hawkeye
Blobeye
Bugeye

Sorry to say, the bugeye always reminded me too much of the Ford Scorpio...

*hides from the flaming*

Mikkel that sort of comment shows a lack of sense, I bought my bug-eye brand new, and there hasn't been a significant upgrade in the Subaru range IMHO.

Till a diesel hatch STI comes out.

I voted 22B.

Its the classic facelift shape, P1 or Type R are the best.

It had the perfect look aggressive but modern, the Bug is ugly standard, once modified look better, blobeye is better but not aggressive enough, the hawk was the best newage. Then the hatchback, well thats not worth talking about. After that Subaru are starting to get back on track, but for me nothing beats the classic.
