Spent force it would seem.

Used to be able to spend hours on here when I first registered, you'd post a reply on a thread, go and read / post on a few others for 5 mins and by then there would be several replies to the first thread, post some more stuff, and before you knew it the afternoon was over

So Muppets got killed off when they all had their massive hissy fit or whatever it was, it's like a ghost town in there these days However I didn't post in there very often and lurked sometimes so no massive loss. At the time webby said it only made up a small percentage of the traffic on the site anyway.

Other than that it just seems to have slowed down, not as many regulars as there once were, the technical gurus don't seem to bother any more, SNet General is full of posts from those of a lower IQ regarding what dump valve they should fit, or asking if they can buy and run a Scoob for pence, then asking for help when they realise what a heap they've bought.

The original SNet owners have now sold out despite constant assurance that the site was not being run for financial gain, the adverts are only there to keep the site running etc. so this was clearly rubbish. Fair enough if they wanted to make some cash from it after all the effort they put in but be honest about it. Hopefully IB or whoever they are will turn it around, it's either that or it will become even more commercial.

Final thing I can see is that there probably aren't as many Scoobs being bought due to the current cost of fuel / tax / ownership and the impending recession. And the new model doesn't seem to have been that well received though I think part of this may just be because people don't have the spare cash to spend on new cars these days, especially gas guzzellers attracting a £400 annual road tax bill.

All IMHO of course
