Big thanks to Ian and the gang at Godspeed for supply and fit of the 330mm/4 pot AP's today! They look the mutts nuts and I can't wait to get them bedded in and try them out properly.

Thanks again.

Hi,
Interested in a few of your options for my MY99 STI V5.

I am living in Japan at the moment so I presume you can do VAT free? Would like to know delivery cost to Japan for the brake kit though.

Can I confirm these VATless prices I worked out from this thread - PM me if you prefer.

AP 4 POT - £760
AP 6 POT - £1062
335 CONVERSION KIT - £467

I realise the prices are being updated so let me know when you can.
Not too keen on the 335 kit as I would imagine a 10 year+ caliper would probably need a refurb then I am in to AP territory.. Also don't like the idea of the mod you have to do to fit them - keen to know how you think they compare to the AP 4 pots though.
Also how easy would it be to get pads/discs for each out here in an emergency. I am not to good at modifying parts myself so would be good to know if one was an "off the shelf" purchase.
Look forward to hearing from you.
Regards,
Ian

Hi Ian,

Can you let me know if you have updated prices for the front 2 piece disks and rear disks to suit brembo calipers with 5x100 PCD disks? Would also like prices on ds2500 pads for the front and rear.

Thanks

AP 6 POT - £1062

Is this price just for the kit without fitting, or is that the price for just calipers and pads without disks?

will these fit onto the 335mm disks you are making?

If so can you give me a price just to upgrade to the AP 6 pot calipers only as I already have the disks

If I fit the AP 6 pots on the front I would like to transfer the standard subaru 4 pot calipers to the rear with maybe the vented kit that you have on offer. Can this be done as the handbrake mechanism goes through the rear brakes on a classic.

tgt

I can supply discs for any Impreza or Legacy , if your model isn't on the following list please ask.

All our discs come grooved as standard , I will only offer drilled discs as well if you want it for show more than go ! The pads available today can generate so much more heat that drilled discs can end up cracking around the holes , all makes of discs that have been drilled will be prone to this. The thicker the disc the less chance of this happening , moreso on the standard sized discs.

All my discs come with a 12 month guarantee against warping , if its down to faulty discs they would be changed for another pair , but if its down to incorrect fitment , or sticky calipers , then they would not be covered.
I am seeing a lot of Subaru calipers now for reconditioning , so care must be taken when fitting new discs to make sure all pistons are free to move , if not , I can supply any parts needed to put them right , from a bleed nipple , to new seals and stainless steel pistons that dont rust , to fully reconditioned calipers.

Just about all parts are available for next day delivery , somedays I am pushed to send out all orders so would go within 2 days.

If you have any questions please call me on 01656 723060 or email me on ian@godspeedbrakes.co.uk.

Holy thread resurrection batman lol

You can either push the backplate inwards to make them clear , or take them off , we always take them off when we fit them

The front stone guard is only held on by 3 bolts , fronts are easier to take off

Hi Ian, don't mean to threadcrap, but I haven't been able to get a reply from you via PM's or e-mails.

so here goes:

I'm after a full set of brakes for a 1999 WRX.

Front and Rear discs, as well as carbon kevlar pads all round. Also, your kit with brand new 4 pot brakes sounds very tasty. Would you be able to quote a full price incl everything?

Also, My personal car is in dire need of a brake upgrade, a 355/356mm front kit with 6 pot brakes would be ideal. 2007 WRX is the car in question.
330mm 4 pot AP's or similar would also be a possibility.

If you would be able to quote a price, I'd apprecciate it.
EX VAT would be ideal.
