powder coating front mount
Frayz : Thanks for the information and the useful Autospeed article.
I find these very interesting but must have missed that one.
My APS FMIC is on the STi 6 Wagon and I think it is anodised. I bought a batch of five of these about six years ago. At some point in the future I am going to put on the slightly smaller Hybrid GT tube and fin as I believe that will perform better but I have to gather a few more bits of information first.

TMIC located on STi 3. The moped exhaust section was used to remotely mount the BOV which was still recirculating but now dispensed with.
Note the inverted relocated ICV.
You can also see two temperature senders, one for the Simtek ECU and the other for monitoring ACT.

Air Charge Temperature guages.
The installation with two guages allows monitoring of temperatures at the throttle body and the second guage can be used to measure temperatures to the intercooler, from the intercooler or any other chosen location.
Much the same was done with two identical pressure guages to measure the pressure drop on both top mount and front mount intercoolers.

Ive used a k-type thermocouple on a multimeter and its identical readout to my RB motorsport gauge. I have the use of this to place wherever else i choose and the main gauge is mounted as shown in the inlet charge pipe before the TB.

Looking well Dave, although i think it would look better if you took the last of the black strip away (Top corners of the bumper cutout). The bits at the ends dont look right to me.
Colours cool though
