i had a mk2 fiesta i think it was that one in red and i painted a unon jack on the bonnet it did me proud i was 16 when i got it had i it for a year

Horrible car, kept it for ages as I was a poor student / graduate who couldn't afford any better. Poxy automatic choke was always flooding the engine. Managed to hole a piston as it detted / pinked so much. Then had a re-con engine fitted, should have scrapped it there and then

I had red nova 1.2l @ 17. I put stickers on it to hide the rust. Decided to get rid when the front cross member snapped due to rot on the motorway and the wheel hit the arch when i braked. Traded it in for a j reg red nova. Should of learnd my lesson from the first one really.
my first car was a mk4 escort xr3i convertible, man i loved that car, even more than my scoob, dont know why but was my baby, 150hp at the wheels and a roof to put down with two tone paint, ladies loved it

looking back (a long way back that is) didn't no anything about cars then,got home dad had a look and the oil filler cap looked like someone had poured double cream in

The first car which I ever bought was a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 2 RS which I still have to this day.
My dad bought a citroen ax for my sister and I when I was 17 for us to learn on, 1litre 3 door jive, great car, but strictly sticking to the op's question, the first car I personally bought was the evo.
