Yes - the original plan was to use a reversed inlet - the same as the previous set up - so keeping the IC pipes as short as possible.

But it got very busy at the front of the engine - In this carnation using drive by wire throttle body, which has a bulky connector block, and although possible to engineer a reversed set up it was decided that leaving the manifold in its stock position as it would only mean about 18" more piping, but would give an easier engine to work on, leave the alternator in its stock position and let it run standard alternator belts. Ill see how it performs - I can always change it later if necessary, but I think it should be okay.

Superb work gone into that, very nice.

Not sure I could live with the front bumper though appreciate it's supposed to look 'sleeper' but it almost looks like you've added an R34 GTR replica bumper to an Impreza

Having lived through a very big build (in the early days when it was all pioneering) and have the emotional and financial scars to prove it I am completely blown away by this car.

The quality, the thinking, and engineering are all fabulous.

My big build is still running but I don't own it anymore - I hope that you get what you want out of this.

Special, very special.

Lovely piece of work Sy.

It's reassuring to know there are other petrol heads that are possibly in the small category generally known as "mentally unstable"

Awesome car matey.

Its a sandard Motec SDL - fitted inside a standard Clock set housing - just remove your original clocks - fit a flat panel - mount the SDL on the panel

How bout this? eBay Motors: Double fan air intake Turbonator + Magentic Saver Combo (item 150314165026 end time Feb-02-09 08:36:36 PST)
I imagine it would need setting up, as its a pretty serious bit of kit!

Hi Sy, what an awersome car. . Have you got any pics of the pedal box? What size cylinders did you use?
Keep up the good work.
